If you've stayed at Bonnet Creek....

I have just secured a timeshare rental for 2 weeks in July. I'm super excited and all about getting a great room location.....ideally, I want to be close to a pool/lazy river but would also like to have great view. I think it's possible to get a lake AND fireworks view. So with these things in mind what should I request?

I know I'm probably asking for too much but it doesn't hurt to try.

I've read through a ton off info on the 'we loooove BC' thread and there are many questions that never seem to get answered....including similar location questions. I'm also curious about the cost of having housekeeping come in at some point during my stay. Anyone know?

If there is anything else that is good to know....please jump in.

I could absolutely give the mini trip report a whirl. You might need to remind me though. I'm so excited to try this place out...it's such rave reviews. We almost always stay onsite. Only once in the last 8 years have I stayed offsite...which was the Hilton Bonnet Creek.

we've only been there recently and stayed in tower 6.Though our room was facing the trees ,we could see downtown disney and fire works to the left,though it was quite far away...I think it was from MK,as epcot and Hollywood are VERY close by.I'm sure you can get both views you're looking for at tower 6,especially higher up.Out the back door,you are at the pirate ship and just to the right ,Tower 5 i believe is one of the lazy rivers.You also have two outdoor bar/restaurants close by;The Backdoor and La Cucina.
Most importantly for us ,was the location of the shuttle;right in front of the building and it was the FIRST pickup and FIRST drop off.Many times the bus was full by the time we went to Tower 1 for the next pickup.
Overall we loved everything about BC ;we're going back in November with the whole family for the Christmas party and this time we'll be calling Garden grocer again;the convenience store was unbelievably expensive.
ie.half pound of bacon was $8

We won't need the shuttle....we are renting a car. The trip is for a convention at the Dolphin so a car is required. We know that we will spend a lot of time at the resort so good proximity between the room and pool would be important.

Are you staying at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek or the Hilton? I rented 2bdm at Wyndham in '2011, It was great!- I'll post some pics tomorrow. We had a tower that over looked the parking lot...but EVERY NIGHT from my balcony I could watch all 3 fireworks (MK, Epcot & HS) and it was during MVMCP- so there was also the extra Christmas Wishes...you won't be disappointed.

I'm thinking that I might request buidling 5...fireworks view. I've spent several hours reading through a couple of really loooooong threads and it seems like this request will tick off the most boxes. We would have the lazy river, theme pool, nice view and access to the parking garage. The garage will be a bonus in the July heat.

I am in the same position as you. We don't actually stay there for the first time until August. I am thinking building 5 or 6 myself based on the information in the giant Bonnet Creek thread. I am tossing around the idea of the buildings closer to the other pool with the slide too because that's always such a big draw for ds.
I think this being my first time I will be happy just about anywhere. After our stay I'll have a better idea of the layout and what I prefer. I wanted to go and take a look while we were onsite 2 weeks ago but somehow we never got around to it.
