I changed the appetizers because a teeny bunch of broccoli was 2.99 (not organic either). So, now we're having a cheese ball and crackers, carrots and dip, and cocktail weenies.

DS5 wants turkey. I have a leftover bag of turkey in the freezer from Thanksgiving. Think this will be good to eat? I've used other frozen turkey but always had it in some sort of dish, not just plain.

Hi. I'm another Kathy from Northern KY. I think we'll be fine. The snowstorm is supposed to go south of us, and I don't think it will hit until Saturday.

That said, we rented a condo in Tennessee for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We're having family coming in from all over the south. The original thought was to have Christmas at my in-laws right outside Knoxville. But they had Thanksgiving, and Mom had major surgery about two months ago, so I didn't want her to have both Thanksgiving and Christmas. DH and I are officially doing Christmas, but everybody is bringing something.

Seven of us...DMIL, DFIL, DH, me, DD23, DD22 and DGD2.

Breakfast: Simple breakfast foods...probably bagels, cereal, juice and milk.

Late Lunch/Supper:
Half ham (9 lbs) from Honeybaked Hams
Mashed Potatoes
Vegetables (unsure what, DMIL is bringing that)
Salad
Relish Tray
Chocolate Chip/Bourbon/Pecan Pie
Wine, Soft Drinks, Coffee

We leave Friday morning. Hoping the weather reports are right and the snow doesn't hit until late Friday.
