if you're here, why not say hello or something?

Greetings from Sparta, IL. :wave2: I'm pretty much of a lurker myself. I do enjoy reading all the posts. I especially like the trip reports. I'm looking forward to trying out Hilton Head next summer. My biggest problem with the DVC is that I don't get near as much time off as my DH. And I don't have enough points! But that seems to be everyone's dilema.

Hello from sunny (finally) Sarasota Florida. :sunny:

I am a frequent lurker here. My biggest goal is to become one of you... a DVC owner. I am presently raising my 5 kids and going to pharmacy school. As soon as I get my degree I will have the hard task of choosing a resort. However, like most of you, I won't be able to pick just one.

So I will continue to live through you and rent points until I am a pharmacist.

Christy princess:

Oh Christy...we HAVE to talk! I'm a resident of Sarasota...and a former pharmacy student! :goodvibes Are you attending the UF program in St. Pete?

Hello from Nebraska. I "lurked" for a long time (2 years) on this board before I ever signed up. There is nothing wrong with just reading, but I am glad I joined. It gives me a chance to get and give feedback, as my husband (God bless him for putting up with my obsession) doesnt want to discuss Disney World or our DVC membership 24/7 like I do. It is nice to meet others who love WDW as much as I do.

Hello from Annapolis, Maryland. I lurk most of the time. Counting down to when we leave. Only 17 days until we head for BWV's. :cool1:

Have a great evening everyone.

hello from Chester, CT

New DVC members as of Feb, first trip will be DEC, already planning 2006 trip.
Whatever happened to spring ? we went from :cold: to :sunny: , wish I was at disney now.
Hope you all have a great evening
:wave2: dd

I'm here. DH and I are hoping to be DVC members by the end of the month if our deal goes through. We both took many vacations together as children with our families and lots as a couple.

I've been doing lots of research on the DVC boards the last couple of weeks.

 Good morning from the very southern tip of Ohio, where yesterday, it was 100+ degrees . . . and my central air decided to go out. :insert sweatin' smiley:

I guess I'm one of the early risers, getting up each morning around 3 a.m. for a pot of coffee and some "me" time before heading off to work. And, yes, I lurk more than I post, too. I guess I should work on that. :flower:

Hello All.

I'm thrilled that this thread lives on - keep the friendly greetings coming.

Good morning everyone! About to try and call MS for January ressies!

Good morning everyone from Raleigh, NC. We had terrible thunder storms role through here yesterday evening. Thunder all around, heavy rain and penny to quarter sized hail. Hope it doesn't repeat today.

I know this is a long time off, but trying to decide what resort I want to stay in August 2006. I will probably go ahead and book VWL at our 11 month window, to just have something; but we sure liked BWV this last March. I will probably try to switch to it at the 7 month window. We really loved being able to walk to Epcot.

Hope everyone has a nice day.

Good morning all!!! This thread is beginning to sound like the Miss America contest...."Hi, I'm Sally Beth Martin, from Al-A-Bama!" :rotfl: Just got me laughing....

Hi (again)
I just figured since I keep viewing this thread from time to time that I should post again to make the sides (views/replies) a little more even :teeth:

Enjoying the 90 degree weather here in the Philly area this week----these are my kind of temps !!!
To Wolfpack.....we had those severe thunderstorms Monday late afternoon. My 12 dd was at her 6th grade farewell party. It was to last until 8:30 pm but at 4:30 pm I got the call to come and get her at the swim club because of major lightening, scattered hail and wind gusts up to 75 mph ! Our weather people said it was hurricane-like conditions. They couldn't classify it as such though because it didn't last long enough. Very nasty though---we lost electricity from 6 pm to 10 pm approximately. A home in a nearby township (Franconia if anyone is familiar with that area) caught fire and pretty much burned to the ground due to lightening. Very nasty indeed. Sorry to hear you all got this as well.

Other than that, I'm enjoying keeping up with this thread. Trying to limit my "views" though ;)

Morning from Minnesota! :wave2: We had severe storms last night and it is still pouring rain, but the 70 MPH winds and thunder and lightening are gone.

 Hi again!

Grades are finished, I'll be coming back to the computer to check e-mail in case students are curious about their grades.

We've had quiet weather, very warm and steamy, but no rain to speak of.

Have a great day, all!

Good morining from Central OH today!

Just sitting down to check email, etc.

I should be doing dishes or laundry, but the kids are all upstairs in their room, nice and quiet, so I figured I'd just sit and work on my favorite pastime... the DIS boards!!

Hello from NJ! I love the DIS, I lurk every day, and have learned a great deal. Thank you to all for the great information and trip reports. If I have any info to share I reply, but because I am fairly new to DVC and the DIS. I don't have too much info. to share. I have only had 1 trip home to BCV. I have 11 weeks to go till our trip to HHI and then we are going on the members cruise. I can't wait! I will try to be a little more outgoing and active. I just wanted to say Hi.
