If you're going to the Downtown Disney restaurants-

That's very interesting. We are not huge DTD fans. We do it once a trip for shopping and dinner. I didn't realize this kind of ganglike thing with teens was going on. I really thought Disney was trying to make DTD much more of a "family" as opposed to "adult" place.

I complained back in November to the DTD authorities that they had drug pushers selling drugs in their parking lots, and no one seemed concerned. They have no one to blame but themselves and their slack supervision of this area. For the record, the guy trying to sell us drugs was a white guy in his 20's. Disney's response to my complaint? "Well, we checked out the band playing music at the House of Blues that night, and their music is pretty mellow, so we don't think that the drug dealing is attributable to them." Who cares? Get on it.

I think it's about time they start cracking down, so that families can go out to dinner without being offered drugs on Disney property. If it happens to us, about as whitebread-looking a couple as you'd hope to see, then I'm sure it's pervasive. I think they're targeting the wrong demographic in going after the teens, though; they need to get the actual criminals and dealers off their property.

My rant, but this is something that's irked me for a while -I think it's unacceptable by Disney standards, or, indeed, by any standards. I wouldn't expect that at a shopping mall, much less Disney World.

Cheers!
