As long as there are reservations, DME buses stop at Pop at :15 and :45 after every hour. It looks like you can count on being informed of a 12:45 p.m. pick-up.

So, if you "miss" your bus, you can just catch the next one in a half hour? I felt like we left way to early last time!

Technically, you probably could.

HOWEVER, doing so could potentially gum up the works for a bunch of other people.

When returning to MCO from the resorts, DME buses are scheduled; you are assigned an exact bus. Let's say you miss that one on purpose and try to get on the next one. Well, if you are successful, and if your resort is the first to be picked up, it's possible that it was set to be a full bus after 2 more stops, meaning that you are taking the seats from someone else who chose to honor their reservation. This will then slow everyone down, because surely the bus driver will need to deal with the situation for a few minutes, and the unlucky people who get bumped from their reservaed bus ride (because there are no seats left) will likely be very stressed, etc.

So in other words, it COULD cause problems if the bus was already scheduled to be full. Since you asked, I just wanted you to understand that your actions (choosing to catch a later bus) COULD have unintended consequences that you might not be comfortable with.:goodvibes

3 hours before is how they seem to schedule you no matter what resort you stay at....

We felt like we left early last time(3 hours prior to flight) but we had stops at other resorts where some people were quite slow getting on the bus and we got to the airport in time to stand in a REALLY long check in line. Needless to say, we were glad our flight was delayed because it was tight (our kids needed dinner). We would definitely recommend DME but I think they leave early for a reason. I would rather be at the airport too early than miss my fight.
