If your ever wondering where half the Magic Kingdom guests have gone...

That last few times we've gone I've been sort of shocked at the wait times. Like 45-60 minutes for Haunted Mansion.

Of course, We've usually gone during the off-times and on the weekdays until this year. That may have something to do with it.

I've never waited more than an hour. The longest I've ever waited was about 55 minutes for Space Mt. in pouring rain. I usually go in August, and it isn't too bad then if you use FastPass. I've seen lines of 4 hours at Six Flags once with my friend (but timing is everything, as we once saw lines of 0 for everything). Soarin' gets 2 hr. waits every day around 2 o' clock.

Last time I went to Epcot during Spring Break, it was 120 minutes long. Gah...*headspins*

Good thing my Grandma loves that ride and has a handicap pass.

My Grandparents ALWAYS go to WDW with us...even though, they're like, what, eighty now?;)

I saw 3 old people walking through MK and they were all helping each ohter walk, it was 2 ladys and 1 man. It was sooo sweet. and kinda sad. :(

Anyway...HEY! we were in disney at the same time! *high 5*

what's up? peter pan does have a bloody awful wait time. i only really ever ride it during extra magic hours, and even then near the end. people do seem to love it alot; if you ask me, it could really benefit from that new fastpass option they're developing for the dumbo revamp

??? Exactly what new fp option???

lol those wait times are crazy. I think I've seen 100 minutes for Soarin I think January 2nd, which was a Sunday a couple years ago. Not everyone was leaving the parks to go home to start school till after that day, but after that it seemed like half the people left the parks and it was less crowded.
I couldn't imagine going to WDW without fast passes!

Peter Pan was one of those that I rode once just for the experience and never again, just because of the two hour wait.

I usually don't mind waiting, depending on how much I like the ride. At this point I've been to wdw so many times that I know exactly what I want to do and I can skip all the stuff I don't like, so no, I don't mind waiting an hour for something I really enjoy instead of running around and riding a lot of stuff I don't like.

Just think about how bad the lines would be if there was no such thing as fastpass.....I'm gonna be giving myself nightmares if I don't stop thinking about it lol

Wow!! I can not even imagine what that would be like! That would be terrible!

:guilty: Your scaring me! That would be horrible! Thank God for Disney's wonderful ideas.

It's not a new Fastpass option. It's a "queueless" queue. You basically get a ticket or one of those buzzer things you get in the restaurants which indicates your place in line, and the area will be filled with interactive games and shows and things to pass your time. When your ticket number comes up, or your buzzer goes, then it's time to ride. They tested it at Rock n' Roller Coaster for a while:

There's also been centralised Fastpass testing in Animal Kingdom (where you could get Fastpasses for Dinosaur, Kilamanjaro Safari and Expedition Everest from one area by Tough to Be a Bug saving the trek there) and they also tested something called Showpass (which is a Fastpass for the shows like Finding Nemo the Musical or Festival of the Lion King).

You guys do know there was no Fastpasses at all until 1999, right?

Yes, I'm aware of the 1st thing already. But Is'nt it only for Dumbo?
The 2nd thing I did'nt know about!!! Wow, that's weird. But I do know that I was only 4 in 1999, so in 1993 (obviously) I was 3, meaning I don't remmebr much then. :)

I know about Fastpasses.

I was obsessed with Pooh when I was little, and when we went to WDW, I HAD to go on the Pooh ride(I was four)and my one-year old sister was with my Mom crying, and it was hot, and Pooh just opened, AND no fast passes.(It's that young...wha...)

I don't remember this, so I'm just going by my Mom.

I loved Pooh when I was like...1-3. My room was old-timey blue and white pooh bear!

:lovestruc It was so cute? What was your room at ages 1-3?
