If your cat is your pride and joy....

We heard a neighbors cat get eaten by a coyote one night and it wasn't something I ever want to hear again! You'd never think there were coyotes where we live, but they are around. All of our cats are indoor only.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I really needed them. I still break down crying at a drop of a dime. One good thing that will happen out of this is when I am ready to adopt again (probably won't be for a while since I still have four cats) I will be adopting an older cat in Bandit's honor. Going online at petfinder.com and seeing all those cats who need a home is so sad so that's is what I have decided.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your kitty. We have had several cats that were outdoor be killed by dogs and just flat out disappear. They are now kept safely in our barn.

I recently heard about Jessica Simpson's dog being snatched by a coyote right in front of them. I would be so heartbroken and I can't imagine the pain.

Again, I'm very sorry and hope that he found a new home or is safe.
