Or anywhere at WDW be sure to stop by the Boardwalk. After 9 years entertaining on the Boardwalk it is Brian Staron's last night there. I'm sure if will be a wonderful and special performance. I wish our family could be there :sad1:

I don't remember the performer's names. What's his act?

I wrote to Guest Communications and told them I was very disappointed that Brian's contract was not being renewed. I told them how much he added to our BWV stays. That his interaction with guests, especially the children, was so wonderful to watch. I got a "Thanks for sharing your thoughts..." I was kind of hoping if enough people asked for Brian to stay WDW might renew his contract. Guess not. Too bad.

I'm sorry to hear this. He was such a character. One time, I stopped him on the Boardwalk, and he had a conversation on my cell phone with my good friend Goofy4Tink, and then proceeded to hang up on her. Hehe :)

 He will be missed. We saw him 3 weeks ago and it was wonderful as usual.

This is so sad. Brian was the best ! He was funny for the children and the adults.
I will really miss him.

I did write to Disney and DVC . I really wish they would change their mind.

The shows tonite will be very emotional...

Oh no that's awful news. My grandson will be very disappointed on our next trip. We love Brian -- wish I had known when I saw him a couple of weeks ago, so could have said something. We're also broken up about no more Eeyore in Animal Kingdom. Some changes are just so wrong!

Yes we saw him in April. He was wonderful!

brian is as much a staple of the BW as ESPN, surrey bikes, carny games, wyland galleries, jellyrolls, etc.

the big difference is, we will miss him more than if they had taken ALL of those away :worried:

i also want to write, but would like to make sure all the letters are going to the same place (it will have a much larger impact if GS receives all of the letters, rather than DVC, etc receiving some).

is everyone writing directly to GS? email or postal?

(side note: does anyone remember the incredibly funny performer that stopped working the BW last year? he usually had a red bowler hat, thin, bald, didn't speak, though had a heavy accent - maybe russian? - if spoken to while not performing. he would lay on the ground, and his pant legs (black, wide-legged, with suspenders) would slide, showing his socks held up by garters and hysterical "embarrassment"! (not the current guy with the hat, similar outfit, also good, but different performer). here are somewhat fuzzy videos that i believe are him:

when i asked around, even showing photos of him, no one could/would tell:()

Oh I so agree. We stay in Oct for 3weeks and every night I stop by too watch him and always feel better after that joyful experience. He is irreplaceable. My DGD was one of his helpers last Oct and has a picture of herself with him(oh and she is 21) I can not believe I was at AKL and MK Fri night . I would have much preferred to have said goodbye to him and thank him for years of joy. They seem to get rid of everything I enjoy. I do not even watch the other performers there.

Oh no, we LOVE Brian. We will miss him!!! He has been my dd's favorite for years.
