If you won the lottery ($54M) would you still buy DVC?

If I was to win the lottery (praying and hoping it becomes a reality) I would definately buy the maximum points allowed and then I would have my beautiful wife buy the maximum allowed points and put it in her name, so I know we would be able to spend a few weeks in a grand villa during the holidays or whenever we felt like it. I would also buy a really nice home in Celebration (our dream) just because I know it was started by Disney, everything they did to the community when they built it, is top notch and it is just beautiful.

Buy to the max, then move out on weekends to save points. Actually, I think if you did that, you could stay in a 2 bedroom the whole year, I believe. Never leave WDW.....yeah, that does sound good.

We must be on the same wave length, dh and I have been discussing this also. I vote to buy for sure. After much debate we agreed to buyWe "agreed" that we would buy another 300 points to make it an even 500 that we own. Of course, I might accidently or on purpose buy a little more. When there's no limit how can you set one? I want enough points to stay in a grand villa for at least 3-4 weeks. Now all I have to do is buy the winning ticket

I would buy a LOT more points than the 230 I currently have and I am sure I would also take time to enjoy all the deluxe resorts at one time or another. In the end, DVC will still be the best, of course

I would buy enough points to be able to go when we wanted in a 1br all the time and to treat anybody I felt deserved it!

And of course sometimes I would use cash and stay concierge all over the "world"

I have never bought lottery tickets before( not much of a gambler ) but if I did win, yes, I would own DVC points to the max.

I'd definitely max out on DVC points. DH and I enjoy taking friends along with us on trips so the more points we have the more trips with friends. It's so nice to dream! Annmarie

I was in the minority to pay cash, but it was tough...I think that I would like to try out the GF and you can do that for a good price with a AP discount for a long time on 54 Million(I could move in!!!). My second option is to buy 2k points, and give a thousand to each child.
