If you were to do a split stay?

We are booked at CBR May 15 - 26, 2006. DH and I were talking about the possibility of making this a split stay. We have never done any of the moderates before (including CBR) So if you were to split your 10 day stay between 2 mods what would they be and why?

10 days is long enough to split. I don't like to split less than 7 days. Maybe think about PORS try out being linked with DTD resort area? You get to use the "boat" to DTD area & are able to "rent" your own boat to ride in the canal to DTD area for a look around. With the 10 days you might have extra time to be able to do things like that. I like PORS myself, compared to FQ because it has all the amneities open at all times, where as fq might not? Also rs has more quiet pools offered along with old man island. I like both the bayou and mansion areas of rs.

We love splitting stays. I want to try out as many different resorts as possible. I think you need at least 3 to 4 days per resort. Some people don't like packing and repacking, but I just pack one suitcase for the first resort and then a second suitcase for the second resort. I always have one suitcase with things I need everyday (toiletries, shoes, lotions, etc) that I have to repack, but it works pretty well for me. By switching resorts we've been able to stay at both POR and POFQ, AKL, WL, and BWI in just three trips.

DH & I have done split stays the past few years. We love it! It's like having two adventures! Since you already staying at CBR and want to split with another moderate, I would choose one of the Port Orleans resorts. We love them both!
