If you were only using one ADR for breakfast - where would you go?

Chef Mickey's? Crystal Palace? Kona? Boma? Someplace else? Not CRT cause our kids are late teens/early 20s and we don't care about characters so much plus it's not worth two TS to us.

We have been to Boma for breakfast but not the others.

I only want to use one of our ADRs for breakfast; the rest I'm saving for dinner. On the other days we will either pay OOP for breakfast or just snack for breakfast and eat an early lunch.

Hard to say. I like the food better at CP than CM. The party atmosphere at CM is such an imersion into all things WDW but CP is more laid back and I like Pooh. pooh:

I haven't done Kona or Boma. Resorts I do based on the day where I'm going to be which days.

For me, a lot of it would depend on which resort we are staying at. If we were staying at the Poly - we'd go to Kona Cafe.

If we were staying at the Wilderness Lodge - we'd go to Whispering Canyon.

Animal Kingdom Lodge - Boma.

If we were going to Magic Kingdom for the day, I would suggest Crystal Palace.

I have been wanting to try Ohana and Cape May for breakfast. I love dinner so much at each of these places.

Ohana, good coffee, Mickey waffles and you don't have to get up to get your food. Plus pineapple bread. Ohana wins hands down for me.

We do only have one breakfast ADR for our upcoming trip and do not participate in the DDP (free or not). 'Ohana. It's a wonderful meal and a great way to start your day at MK.

It looks like I am in the minority, but I did not care for Ohana's breakfast. The smell of what I'm guessing is the dinner's grilled meats was overwhelming, and the food was just lukewarm. I'm not usually a big buffet person, but I thought 1900 Park Faire was very good.

I didn't like Ohana either :sad2: Food was cold, service was the pits, and the character interaction couldn't even compare to to others we've tried.

I would go with Bona or Kona Cafe :thumbsup2 Excellent breakfasts at both places:flower3:

Kona Cafe all the way, every trip, it's a must do for us. If you want great service, ask for Beverly. She is really something special. Maggie

Oohh thats a tough one but I would have to say Cape May Goofys Beach Bash. This place is incredible for breakfast. Tons of food to choose from (who else puts fresh asparagus on the buffet?) A huge yogurt bar, amazing bread pudding and the largest selection of fruit I have ever seen (all types of melon, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, oranges, grapefruit, grapes, pineapple, bananas, apples).

The place is never that busy so you can take your time, it is not loud in there at all and the characters come around many times.

1900 Park Faire is our favorite breakfast buffet. It just seems to have an elegant feel to it, and the food is absolutely wonderful.

If you're going this summer, though, it's being refurbished.

Normally I would say 1900 Park Faire, but since that will be closed, my second choice is definately Chef Mickey's. It's a buffet and if you time it right, you can eat plenty for breakfast and lunch. Also, the characters are fun for big kids too.

Chef Mickey's (at dinner) is too frenetic for me. I love the breakfast lasagna at Crystal Palace, the Tonga Toast at Kona, and the food at Cape May Buffet. I also love Donald's Breakfastosaurus and will do it one last time in September. The juice at Boma is excellent.

OK so I'm no help at all. Happing dining!

I do agree with the other poster that it really depends on your plan and/or where you are staying. I love Boma, but if I am not staying at AKL I find it hard to get to for breakfast.(I have little ones) We did Ohana's last trip and it was good and fun. I loved the pineapple bread! CP was fine but not my fav. Liked 1900 but it is going to be closed. My fav breakfast is at the castle. I know a lot of people think it is overpriced, but I just love it. I try to do it every other trip.

Did I help????? :rotfl2:
