If you were a "survivor" what would you take

Just for fun---On the TV show the contestants are only allowed to take 5 things. Well, besides your clothes and bathing suit what would be the 5 items you would take?

soap, toothbrush, mosturizer, blanket, photo of family. In that order

This isn't like a fantasy island thing, where you could take Richard Gere, Clooney etc. is it??

Water would be #1 on my list, if they won't let me take water I would bring a water purifier (beats the old iodine tablets, but I would take those if the first two were out).
#2 Matches in a waterproof container.
#3 Tarp (can be a blanket or shelter)
#4 knife
#5 binder twine

Depends on which season you're on as to whether you get to take anything at all ... I'm guessing this season (starting this week) they only have the clothes on their backs, period.

And of course, they won't let you take anything "good" ... my 5 picks would be unallowed by the producers: matches or lighter, water (lots of it), serious DEET bug repellant, mega-huge Swiss Army knife (preferably one that has a built in fishing pole), and if the knife doesn't have one, then a fishing pole with bait & hooks.

Oh, gee, I was thinking you weren't allowed things like knives, matches etc. Otherwise, wouldn't at least someone pick that?? Those "make fire" espisodes make for some high drama OK, I might have to trade the family photo for the matches..... but not the moisturizer. I have SUCH dry skin and they're always in those hot jungles!!

2. Toothbrush - I can't function if my teeth aren't clean
3. Razor - hairy anything is not an option for me
4. Feminine things - how gross if you didn't have these? I can't even imagine.
5. Umbrella - protection from the rain and sun

I wouldn't survive, but at least I wouldn't look like Chewbacca and have bad breath. Hey, you asked!
