If you were a CM in a park what would you want to do?

Sorry disneydave. You can pretend to be Mickey anytime you want :confused3 . Any CM knows that Mickey Mouse is real!

I'm a United Methodist Minister by calling, and I'm certain that there aren't any jobs at Disney for me along that line. But, one day, upon retirement, I would love to be the Mayor of Main Street. He gets to walk up and down main street all day talking to people! What an awesome job!

Other jobs that would be fun to me in this order:

- the tenor in Epcot Vybe or the Voices of Liberty
- Crush in the show at the Living Seas
- a tram diver

That's all for now. Though I would imagine that any job in the parks would have to fun - if you made it that way! By the way, the guy who wanted to collect bikini tops - that was hilarious!

God bless!

Tiger or meerkat keeper at AK. I was going to say Gorilla keeper then I remembered I have that job already - looking after my DH

I would love to be a Character Greeter. Taking pictures of families with the characters and watching them interact with the guests would just be great!!

I

While one of the most rewarding roles ( pictures, kids, familes, high guest contact ) - at the same time, It can be stressful. Sometimes they have to say "No" - even if the family has been searching for Mickey their whole vacation... Mickey still needs to go on break and "will be back at X time"

Ya might get yelled at.

Anything in air conditioning =) I've been to Florida in July one too many times, and would never want to stand out there for 8 or more hours a day - sounds great to stand out there and greet people or sweep floors, but it would get real old in that heat and humidity.

The magic is just as magical INSIDE the air conditioning! LOL

Don't forget night shifts!!

I always worked from 6pm-2:30am, so I never had to worry about A/C.

If I could choose, I would drive the monorail. :)

An interpreter, of course. I love interpreting! And I would get to be in all the different parks and do all the different shows. Variety. I really envy the interpreters at Disney. They have great skills and get to use them at the greatest place on earth.

Hello,

I would like to beach a lifeguard at Blizzard Beach. Then after all the guests had gone home I would spend as long as possible going on all the water slides!

Plus been outside in a swimsuit all day would get me a decent tan!

Darling picture of you and your awesome family! Where was that taken? I can't place it.

And yes, I can see you as the Mayor. You seem to have that special touch the ministers have! :flower:

I love working with the public so I would say I could easily work at The Emporium or Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe at MK. :earboy2: I'd also have first dibbies on the really cool new stuff coming in, too! :rolleyes1

Growing up, I always wanted to be in the parades - preferably a dancer!

As those days are quickly retreating, I think I would like to be a concierge for one of the deluxe resorts, and help make people's wishes come true!!

Ever since I was little, I've always thought it would be great to be a Jungle Cruise skipper. I would love to tell corny jokes all day as a job!

We had the funniest skipper about a year ago & she made our day at MK; we still talk about her and her funny spiel. I'd love to make memories like that for other guests!

Well I must say that ever since I was little that I always wanted to paint cels for animation...weird I know, but I went on a tour once and I have seen it on tv where there is this huge wall of special colored "Disney colored"paints and I would love to do that...other than that I want to be Belle :)

I would love to be Rafiki on the first float in the Jammin' Jungle Parade - it's my all time ambition to be picked to ride that parade, in particular that float!!

my ideal job would be to pilot one of the small launches that ferry people around 7seas lagoon and bay lake. small boats would give me the opportunity to interact with people more and share my love of WDW with them .

My daughter is at WDW right now on the college program. She's a captain on the Friendship boats both on the Epcot lagoon and on the Gateway between MGM and Epcot, stopping at the resorts. She thinks it's the best "job" in the World!! :cool1: Works with lots of fun people and gets to talk to the guests in a relaxed setting.
She has a great paid "vacation" for 7 months :)

I think it would be fun to work with Disney Weddings. The magic of Disney plus the magic of weddings-that's a lot of magic!!

Question-didn't I read on here once that the cast members who direct the characters are "friends" of those characters (that's why they're often the same height as their character)? I could be wrong-but I thought I remembered that.

I'd love to be a character some day! My kids tease me & say by the time I can do that, all I will be able to be will be the Fairy Godmother...meaning I'll be old! I can always dream!

I always wanted to be a Tour/Park guide. The joke in my family was after we went on a trip/vacation I would play Tour Guide.
I'm an Aerobics Instructor. I wouldn't mind teaching fitness as a Disney facility. I'm sure that the Princesses need to keep in tip top shape. *I think it would be awesome have a Yoga class at AK in front of Tree of Life.
I am a Jazzercise insturctor. I have often thought how I could combine two of my passions, Jazzercise and Disney. Some people that are familiar with my love for Disney say that I am a Mousercise instructor. :earsboy:

What I really would love to do is work for Guest Relations and lead the KTTK tour. It gives me chills just thinking about getting paid to talk about MK all day!! :cheer2:
