Did you still enjoy yourselves as much?
We are debating when to go, at first it was a firm go in May next year, no changes but some things are going on and we might change the trip to the first week or two of December.
I'm familiar with December weather in FL and how fickle it can be. We are counting on it being chilly and hoping for better. We were miserable at the State Fair in Feb. when it was cold, so we know what it's like to walk around all day in the chilly weather. 50 isn't so bad until you stand in it for awhile!
So how is it when it's colder? I see pros and cons to both times of year, it would be nice not to worry about my ds in the heat (he has trouble regulating his body temp so we have to be very proactive in warm weather,) and it would be nice not to carry around as much ice and water for him.
But if it's too cold that means skipping water rides or less hours the park is open but it's a big difference in hotel prices, much cheaper to go. (we are staying on site, no question) If it matters any, my husband hasn't gone since the 90s and the kids and I have never been so I'm not really familiar with how open things are in the park.
