If you wear contacts

Up until 4 years ago I would have said contacts, but now I'm seeing better with my glasses.

I think that means I'm getting old!

Well alrighty...I'll have to get started with a list. :teeth: Hey, you anywhere near Blowing Rock or Linville? Used to live there when I was young.

I'm about 2 hours away. Used to live in Boone though. It is beautiful there! It's beautiful here too, just not the same. I miss Boone.

I still use AoSept with my disposables. I'm sensitive to many of the preservatives in lens solutions and AoSept is one of the very few that doesn't bother me.
Are you having trouble finding AOsept? I called the company and they said there was a manufactoring problem and they stopped production for a while. Stores should start having it again in early April. I don't know what to use until I can find it again.

Much clearer with contacts and I love that peripheral vision thing!!! But I'm happy after a long day to take my contacts out. Now, if I could just see the darn alarm clock . . ..

Wore contacts for years, then I was having problems with my eyes drying out, finally ended up wearing the ones that you can sleep in - I just didn't sleep with them in - with my prescription.

Though once I had to start with the bifocal, gave up on the contacts - even tried contacts with bifocal in them but that didn't work out.

Sooner or later (depending on the growth) will have my cataract fixed, then I will either be down to no glasses or just reading glasses

I am nearsighted and also have astigmatism...I wear toric lenses that are very comfortable but they are a little pricey. Before I got disposables, I used Bausch and Lombe (sp?). Now I use Frequency 55 toric lenses made by Cooper Vision. My eyes have a lot of curvature and these are the only disposables that feel right.

I to have astigmatism and just went back to the eye doctor for my contact check up he gave me a trial pair of the
ACUVUE® ADVANCE™ Brand Contact Lenses for ASTIGMATISM
they fill so good they don't fill heavy on the eyes..

you may want to check into these they run around $45.00 a box

I see a lot better with my contacts, and they are a whole lot more confortable.

My contacts. I'm pretty blind with my glasses and they aren't very comfortable to wear. So I normally take my contacts out about an hour or so before I go to bed so I don't have to wear them for that long.

My contacts.

However, I prefer to have naked eyes at home (no contacts or glasses).

I see better with contacts, I am wearing glasses right now and I don't have the same peripheral vision as I do with contacts and I can see the frames.

I wear coopervision for astigmatism also. They are the most comfortable contacts I have ever used. I get them at Costco for about $40/6 pairs. I need to go to Costco to special order some more since I just ran out, thus the reason I am wearing my stinkin' glasses.

I have been wearing glasses since I was 4, I can't wait until I am able to get laser surgery, but my sight has yet to stabilize. Oh to see the alarm clock without aid, what a wonderful day that will be!

I hate glasses. I feel like I'm in a kaleidoscope. I can't walk straight and if I try to wear them while walking up or down the stair, I will probably fall. It's terrible! So I wear contacts from the second I wake up to the second before I go to bed.
