Thanks so much for posting about this!! I was able to trade in our 1st gen iPad and get an iPad mini which also came with a $25 gift card. Great deal and the kids are thrilled to have an updated iPad that will run the newer apps!

Broke down and traded my iPad 1st gen in this evening. The poor thing was was dead since it was feeling no love from us and hasn't been used in months. The guy said he was swamped all day.

Thanks for posting! Now hubby is just waiting for the new Mini to come out so he can join us on the dark side.

I did end up going in Saturday evening. I was in line behind seven other people. They had a shopping cart full of trade-ins there.

None of us could buy a new iPad of any kind, as they were out, as were all the other stores in a 20 mile area of our house. So, I'll be waiting for new stock and hopefully get a iPad mini retina display later this month.

In the meantime, I'm already missing my iPad. Pulled out DHs Kindle Fire that we haven't used in months and charged it up so we have something to use in the meantime.

The iPad mini retina display is now for sale online at Apple (just released today apparently). Not sure when they will hit the stores but at least they are available out there now. I realize you are probably wanting to use your $200 for the mini to offset the cost but just letting you know

I want the ipad air. I read black friday you can get the 100 gift card with it. Can i do this deal online and get the gift card? also i don't have the credit card, do you know if i could apply online on black friday and get the 5% off as well?
