My 180-day window opened today, so at 5:59 am (CST) I was on the phone with Disney Dining. Trying to make a ressie at LeCellier at 180 + 2 days, I still had trouble! My choices were 4:20pm or 7:40 pm....took the 7:40, but will have to miss Illuminations as a result.

Call early for your ADR!

FYI -- This is the only ressie I had trouble with. The rest I got every time I wanted.

Good luck!

I have quick qestion for you, was that the only day you could go or was that the only times they had available during your stay. The reason why I am asking, I am trying to figure out how flexible I need to be with my dates for Le Cellier when I go in December.

We were extremely lucky to get :cool1: LeCellier too! We just planned a trip for just over a month away. I told my DH it was worth a shot to inquire about an ADR for LeCellier. I almost fell over when we got a 5:40 ADR for 3 on the night we wanted. I can't wait to try the duck! We did not get to LeCellier on our last 2 trips.

Hi. Well, this was really the only feasible day for us to go since we will be in Epcot anyway and already had plans for the other nights. But I bet if we had been able to play around with the dates something would have come up. Hopefully...lol.

Yesterday was my 180+9. When I called for LC, I was luckey to get the time I wanted but the CM said that that day is almost already booked. :confused3

We've generally had pretty good luck with Le Cellier at less than 180 days out. But we are pretty flexible in terms of when we eat and whether we have dinner or lunch. But it can be a hard one to get!

OP - a 7:40 reservation might not mean missing Illuminations. Assuming you are seated on time, just tell your server that you are in a bit of a rush. And maybe skip dessert. There are several places in the vicinity of the Canadian Pavilion that provide good Illuminations viewing. Might not be front row seats but you could walk up at the last minute some times of year and get some kind of view. We've watched from a terrace that was elevated and had a fairly high wall so it might not be good for little kids. But we've got a decent spot at the last minute there before. And even standing behind a few other people at the rail, you can still see the higher fireworks just fine and hear the music etc.

I called at 50 days out for our March trip and had several choices of times for our meal at LeCellier. I think it just depends on when you're going.

Yes holidays are busy...

I never had trouble getting ADR's at LeCellier...

Try getting their 1/2 hr early......I'm sure they will just check you in
and give you their 1st available table(works for me).....and you'll probably be able to catch illuminations.

If you can't get in for dinner, try lunch ressies. Its the same food and you might be able to at least get in for a lunch.

I wasn't able to get a dinner there for our Feb trip. We were past the 150 day mark when we made the ressies. I was able to get us lunch there ..better than nothing I say :lmao:

I was able to get dinner ressies there at a 150 days out (june trip) without any problems.

Called last week to booked 4 days at okw for the end of april, just for haha's i asked about LeCellar for 4 for any of the nites we are visiting and to my very happy surprise we were able to get sunday nite.:cool1:

eating at 7:40 does not mean missing Illuminations, just let your server know you wish to view the fireworks, you could
a. eat quickly and skip dessert
b. eat slowly - go out to watch the fireworks - return to your table for dessert.
c. eat dinner, get dessert and an irish coffee to go, watch fireworks while sipping your coffee - back to resort- eat dessert

>> i really enjoy option "C"

Ouch, I guess May is just way less busy than July. We had no prob getting a Sat. night at 7 pm. Glad you managed to at least get a seat.

Actually the menu is different. You most certainly can't get the scrumdiddlyumptious mushroom filet at lunch.

Try again at 180 days exactly. I've noticed that for some places 180 days (or even, gasp 170) is easer than 180+x.

I just called to make reservations for July 2nd or 4th and had my choice of times for both days. I ended up picking 5:30pm at on the 2nd.

It isn't that hard to get them outside of 180 days.

That is my plan! I am going to ask for my b-day date but if it isnt open I will take any day during the week that we are there.

I first had a lunch ressie for Lecellier and then changed to supper asked for 7pm got 7:10 so was happy !!

We got Le Cellier for June 2, 6:00 at about 150 days out no problem.
Keep calling.

Agreed. I'm sure they only open up a percentage of ADR for the 180+ days and hold the rest for the 180 day mark. Keep trying.

Last week, I found out that I will be going to WDW in March for a work conference and will extend the trip a few extra days to make a vacation out of it. DH and I were just there in Sept and his work schedule was too busy to go, so I invited my mom. Well, her first request was a meal at LeCellier. I told her I would try, but highly doubted we could get anything. Over the last few days, I've called numerous times and today, voila!, they suddenly had a ton of ADRs available for lunch on March 15th. I had my choice of anytime b/t 11:30 and 2. Crazy! So I booked a noon reservation. Sometimes the ADR system completely baffles me! :confused3

My ta told me when she made our adr's in december that they had nothing for our May 29th day, after reading here I am going to have her recheck. It only makes sense that they would release a portion, and then release some more later...wish us luck
