I hate, hate, HATE waiting for Disney busses at the end of the night! There is nothing worse than standing in line waiting for a bus at the end of a long, hot day in a theme park. Two summers ago, staying at POP, we never waited less than 30 mins to get a bus from a park back to POP, and one memorable evening we waited an hour and 15 mins in line to finally get on a bus. It is SO annoying to stand there in the heat, with sore feet, crying children (yours and others) and some guy sneaking another cigarette and know that if you'd stayed offsite you'd be in your car, or in your condo, or in your swimming pool, instead of standing in line waiting to stand on the bus back to the long walk at the resort to get back to your TINY room! Excellent point....Especially during busy times, you can easily be lounging in your private pool with the adult beverage of your choice when the other half are still queing for the packed bus ride back to their onsite hotel.
I've been on both sides of this and saw it again first hand this Xmas.
