If you take your own drinks aboard, are you free to roam about with them (opened)?

Wondered if they minded that, like if your walking from one area to another...with an opened can of pop or water or whatever....?
Or can't you do that..

Yes, you can walk around the ship with your open container in hand.....alcoholic or virgin.....Andy

We always bring our own water and wander around with it freely (decks, clubs, etc.). We bring a six-pack and then refill the bottles with water from the beverage station. The ship water from the station is surprisingly good.

Like - how would they know?? With approx 2700 guests on board - I doubt there will be someone on a security camera...focused entirely on you...saying... there she goes - she HAS a Pepsi - I repeat - she HAS a Pepsi... :)

I don't recommend carrying around glass bottles. That might be frowned upon. Also, carrying your liquor bottle in a brown bag should be a no, no  :earseek:

You are right, but last time I was at WDW, they didn't serve Pepsi products there...they only had coke products. I dont know what is the deal now, but I thought maybe DCL carries one or the other...and not both pepsi and coke products...::yes::

:teeth: ~

Thanks

Thanks Tesabat, I needed a laugh this morning. I can just picture it now - the camera zooms in on "Pepsi Lady"....out runs the mod squad who quickly disposes of the evidence by throwing the lady over board!!

HA HA ROFL!

Carrying your own stuff on-board is fine.... I've felt very comfortable whether I'm drinking a can of coke, beer or even a wine cooler. I've never thought about carrying around a jug of rum in a brown bag though...but that's an idea. :) Usually I just pop my can, bottle or mixed drink in a koozie.

Have fun!!

You know, I don't think we carried our own drinks around, but we did take cans to Castaway Cay. We mixed our rum right into the cans. Of course, we carried them off the island with us, too. No muss, no fuss!:smooth:

I agree completely. Bring whatever you want onboard, but try to be discreet about it. Use a plastic cup with ice, or even a can cooler. I'm just concerned that if this gets out of control with everyone walking around with cans and bottles that DCL will crack down on their "look the other way" policy. I guess the way I look at it is given the choice, why not use a cup?

Thanks Tesbat, too!
Your humor really cheered me up: especially because I would have to stay late at work until 9:30 pm!
