If you stay at Hard Rock, do you get FOTL?

:confused3 Sorry to be out of the loop, but I haven't been to Universal Studios for 4 yrs. The prices at Hard Rock Hotel are outrageous, but we want the FOTL pass, like we had 4 yrs. ago. Do you still get the special badge or whatever for the FOTL pass, when you are staying in one of the On-Property hotels? Does it still work the same way, where you can ride the Mummy as many times as you like in one day?
Thank you for any information.
My daughter has an Annual Pass to Univ. Studios and is also a Florida resident and has a Loews Hotel card. Hopefully we will be able to get some small discount with one of those programs. We are trying to stay on Dec. 21st. Friday. There are 5 in our family.

Yes...If you stay at the HRH you get FOTL access with your room key. You can use it for unlimited rides during your stay.

The prices at the Hard Rock for Dec. 21 are a good $100 cheaper than any of the deluxe Disney hotel prices for that date. It is a very good choice and the addition of FOTL makes it a much better deal.

Don't forget the Royal Pacific Resort and Portofino Bay Hotel, also on property. Also, with FOTL access with room key. We stayed at RPR in July, and it's the cheapest of the 3 resorts, HRH being in the middle, and PBH being the "deluxe" resort.

The only "FOTL" is VIP Tours. I can't stress enough that FOTL (Front Of The Line) is a misconception that causes people to buy express under false pretense. Express gurantees you a wait that is less than 15 minutes. It is not exactly front of the line access. That only happens if you go on a slower day. Just so you aren't supprised if you go on a day like Christmas and you end up waiting 10 minutes in the express. Even though the regular line will be almost 90. :)

I understand what HazMat is trying to say. You get only get "true" front of the line access with a VIP tour. We are all accustomed to calling unlimited express pass "FOTL", but if you want to be technical, it's not really front of the line access. FOTL (and it will always be FOTL to us) as we know it is a GREAT perk!

As a Universal Orlando on-site hotel guest you’ll get the superstar treatment with UNIVERSAL EXPRESSSM ride access*. Just present your hotel room key card at each ride and attraction’s express entrance and you can bypass the regular attraction lines!
ok may not be called fotl but just as good.:thumbsup2
