If you stay at a UNIVERSAL RESORT do you get free tickets to Universal Studios?

Not sure who I heard this from, but I was told that you get in free to Universal if you stay at one of their resorts...Is this true?
Also, which resort is the best for the money? (i noticed they are very expensive).

No. That would be ludicrous.

Royal Pacific is the cheapest hotel.

I think that they are running a promotion just now something like "stay four play free" whereby you get free admission to the parks if you stay at on on site resort for 4 nights or more.

We went in late July under the "Stay 4, Play Free" promotion ~ we got 2 free tickets for our length of stay. I have no idea how long the promotion is running, though.

Right, the TV commercials make it seem like you get free tickets, but unless it is with your package deal, you don't.

The hotels are expensive, but that's why people read this board for tips on how to get the best deal.
You'll have to give us more info on what you're looking for when you say "best for the money" because each resort is different.
HRH is the closest to the parks and has the shortest walk.
RPR costs less
PBH is more quiet and the farthest away.
