IF & ONLY IF you've experienced BOTH the (Diamond/Golden) Horseshoe Revue
AND
the Hoop Dee Doo musical show at Fort Wilderness,
which show did you like more?
How did the shows compare & contrast?
(I loved the Horseshoe Revues & am wondering if the Hoop Dee Doo would be worthwhile.)

We love(d) them both.
(They ARE different.)
But, they are similar in the ways that make them great (and corny) "old west" family FUN!

We have seen the Hoop at least a dozen times over many years of WDW trips.
(Good food, too.)

And, to further solidify my standing in this,
we also loved the Diamond Horseshoe shows at MK (and the Golden Horseshoe shows at Disneyland) and saw them many times over the years.
We even happened to be at MK the week they closed the Diamond Horseshoe and saw one of the very last performances.
It was so sad to lose such a fun event at WDW!

But, the Hoop is in the same style of performance, with much time spent by the performers interacting with many audience members (to great comedic effect.)
If you liked the Horseshoe... you'll like the Hoop.

I got on stage for both
Diamond Horseshoe was more laid back and relaxed IMO.
Hoop Dee Doo is a real solid production. Lots of respect for both.

Another HDDR vote although you really can't compare the two. We enjoyed both, but HDDR is the whole package!

We were hoping to go in October, but that isn't looking good at this point.
