So I have been discussing a 5th gate for Disneyworld and made me wonder what I would do if I owned the Disney company. What would I do if I have infinite money, time and was able to do anything. So I thought I make a thread that discussed it. Maybe people can put up their ideas as well? I am going to start with Disney World obviously, but lets start with Epcot.

Epcot

Ok so my main goal here is to add and update a lot of stuff. I would also bring back some of the original things that made Epcot great. First the entrance plaza would have to change. The “Leave a Legacy” stones would be going. (Don’t fear the pictures of everyone will be moved to someplace else in Epcot.) Those spots would become the grass planters with trees that they originally were. The buildings that house the stroller rentals and first aid would be given a new paint color with a more sleek look.

Spaceship Earth would focus on communication much like it has since the opening of Epcot. I think the ride could stay mostly the same with some new AA’s, lighting and effects. The decent would be different though. I think I would place two different scene showing what the future of human communication will look like. At this time I don’t know what the scenes would be like. The interactive area after the ride would become more of a hub for Epcot activity. You can read up on the different pavilions at Epcot and see the wait times for different rides. There would also be a section that was dedicated to communication like it is now. Also on a side note Mymagic would not be implemented yet. Spaceship Earth will be given some paper fastpass machines to see how many people want fastpasses for it.

The Hub

The Hub will be the center of the Future World activities. It wont be called the hub, but for the sake of this discussion it is. When you enter and look to your right you can tell that a larger planter use to be there. Some may remember the grass planter with the reflecting pool. This planter is coming back along with the pool. More plants and shrubs would also be added around the fountain of nations. The giant tent thing would most certainly be coming down. Along with those strange poles with the purple things on them. The info stand I think can stay where it is as well as the time board. A DVC booth would be added, but given a very futuristic look. This would replace the one on the path towards World Showcase. It would be made of glass so it would look cool, because looking cool is everything. Now Innovations would be named Communicore like it once was. The Carousel of Progress would be moved and placed into Communicore. It would have of course an updated ending scene with new AA’s and lighting all the way through. There would also be constant changing exhibits showcasing the future of technology. I think the Electric Umbrella will stay, but be given a new name as well as a new look. It will be now called “Innovators Palate” and be given a more sleek look inside. I originally wanted to change it back to different Communicore exhibits, but felt like the high capacity quick service should stay. Mouse Gear will return to the two story store that it was originally. The theme will be a store of the future with a very sleek look inside. (Everything is going to be a little sleek if you haven’t noticed yet lol) I don’t have a name yet so feel free to give names below. Fountain View will still become Starbucks, but will have extra seating outside. You know that little space between the coke thing and the Starbucks? Well I place some sort of canopy with plenty of seating. The canopy would be placed there during the summer, but be removed during the dryer times of the year. The coke place will be turned into a new ride. Now some people do not know that Communicore was built to house a peoplemover type system. This explains the high ceilings. The coke building will become the loading dock for the ride. You enter from the front facing the fountain of nations. The queue will wind through the center of the building until you go up the left side of the room with stairs. It then takes you to the second above platform where you load onto the slow moving peoplemover. It then takes you inside the different parts of Communicore. Now the ride would be very short and would only move through the two buildings that house the current character greet and the building next to it. The restaurant and store on the other side will not have the peoplemover move through it. The track will turn it around where it will bring it back to the loading station. Something short but relaxing for people with kids or who need to take a break.

Imagination will see some changes that I think will make plenty of people happy. Figment will be returning with his beloved Dreamfinder. The imaginative duo will be back to scour the universe for imagination and you get to join them. This time you enter into the dream station. The queue is decked out with interactive elements and cool things to do as you wait. The room is divided so you can not see guest exiting or heading upstairs to the other things. The new ride will be a trackless ride. The theme is that figment is going to release some of the imagination juice out of the dream machine. This is going to cause havoc inside the building bringing things to life. (Sound familiar) In the queue you can hear Dreamfinder calling out for Figment while you wait to board. You then enter your buggy and enter the ride. As you enter you notice the Dreamfinder is looking under a table. He stands up and then welcomes you to the dream station. He says he was planning on showing you around in his new dream chasers. (The things you around in) He says he cant seem to find Figment and don't know what kind of trouble he might get into. He then says the dream chasers will lead you on your own and tells you to tour without him. You then leave the room and enter a giant room with a big machine in the middle. The machine has a dial that says full. A very state of the art AA Figment flies down from the ceiling and lands in front of the machine. He giggles and says he wants to share some imagination with his new friends. He opens the things and stands back as you watch imagination flow out. lighting effects as well as some other cool effects will make it look like stuff has came out of the machine and is lose. All of a sudden your cart moves away as Figment giggles. he says lets the fun begin as you start to leave. You then enter a giant room that looks like a forest. Everything is black and white but the free imagination flows onto it. You watch as the black and white turns to color in front of you. You see Figment dancing and singing the main imagination song. All of a sudden some of the trees and plants start to attack Figment. You watch as Figment doges them and tries to fly away. (Note you are moving so these are different scenes) Finally you see Figment get away and start to laugh. He makes a short little comment and then everyone keeps going. You then enter a room full of mystical animals like Unicorns and Fairies. They seem cute at first and you then watch the imagination fluid flow on them. Apparently the imagination fluid is so strong it makes good things turn evil and makes things go out of control. The unicorns and fairies turn in evil creatures. A blended screen shows Figment flying away from the evil fairies that are chasing him. To your right evil mermaids are swimming in a pool of imagination fluid. One mermaid pops out and reaches out towards you. The cool thing is the vehicle is always spinning and moving giving you perfect views of everything. There would be two more rooms before you then enter the imagination universe. This is just a big room where things are going crazy. You see Figment flying around trying to dodge flying objects and other things. Things are out of control but then Dreamfinder appears in his dream catcher and starts to suck up things. He is singing the imagination song and laughing as if nothing is happening. He then apologizes to his guest for the trouble they went through and Figment apologized to Dreamfinder. You then exit hearing the legendary song. I thought this was better then sticking to the original which was my first idea. The theater will become a 3-D show about the imagination and the senses. There would be dark scenes and other things that would show you how wild the imagination can get. The fountain out front would be returned to the original.

The Land would see changes starting with the outside. I like the new feel of the outside giving a more floral look, but the trees are a little too big. The trees need to be a little smaller so The Land can be seen better. On the inside I would replace the carpet with new carpet. The Circle of Life show will be replaced with a show about water. I know water isn’t amazing, but it can be a video about how water effects the land around us. The bathroom upstairs and downstairs would be updates and given new looks. The Garden Grill would be refurbished with a new look that still celebrates the vegetation of plants of the Earth. Once again I don’t have a name. The quick service plaza restaurant below will be given a new mosaic mural around representing the four seasons of the year. The carpet would be replaced with new carpet that represented the four seasons. Each area would be divided into areas that represented one of the four seasons. Living with the Land will stay, but receive some changes. The queue will be painted will be painted a solid blue color. Lights will be installed along the wall that change colors that make the wall look as if the color changes. The boat ride would go through different rooms of vegetation much like it does now. I would feel it in a little more so that the first room would have rocks and trees on the left side of the boat not just the right. This way it feels more complete and gives a sense of place. Throughout the ride guest would see how scientist are coming up with new ways to replenish plants after we use them. There would even be a portion of the ride that shows some of the new tech that is being used today, and what the plans are for tomorrow. A new narration would be given as well. Soarin will no longer be what it is as in the sense that you watch a screen. Nope you are now going to literally fly through different lands. The queue is going to made up like you are walking through different types of biomes. You will walk through a giant forest, desert, artic and jungle biome. You then board you hang glider which will be the same glider except on a track above. The track will be cleverly hidden to avoid guest seeing it. Your glide then zooms off as it reaches the end of the loading dock. The buildings that hold the theaters would be remolded to fit together into one building. You first enter the jungle biome. Where you race past trees full of monkeys and other wild life. Your glider then takes a dip sort of like a coaster but without the speed. You go through a cave and come back out into the artic biome. This place is almost desolate and you feel as if you are navigating through the frigid cold climate. Cold air blast you making you feel like you are really there. Penguins play around below you as you almost run into a cliff in front of you. You lift up just in time to save yourself before you go through a dense cloud of fog. You then enter the forest part. This will be the Redwood forest in California. You swing back and forth between trees as you see the realistic forest below you. There would even be a real stream flowing through. Guest will also experience the feeling of flying by a gentle gust of air blowing at you. The scent of the pine trees would also return. You move through a hole in one of these big trees as you enter the desert room. This room is hot and you can see the barren ground below you. The big rock structures make it difficult for you to move through meaning you are always avoiding them. Your glider suddenly goes almost straight up as you are forced to the back of your seat. The air then stop and you do a nose dive to the ground. You almost hit a rock but lift up just in time. You then enter the final biome which would be the city. You see below you the lights and buildings of the city. You can see cars moving through the roads. It ends and you exit off into the exit.

The seas would see some very drastic changes. For one thing the entire thing would become themed to a sea base inside a undersea cave. So when you went inside through the gift shop you would enter what looked like an under water base. When you look up there would be metal roofing type material mixed with rockwork. This way it looks like a base was built inside a under water cave. The ride would be very cool. The queue would be set up like your were above the ocean. Almost like a sea port type setting. You then would enter into a cart shaped almost like a bubble. There would be the opening on the front of course. The ride would not be an omnimover like it is now. You would start out by going onto the seas. Special effects would make it looks like you were above water. A narration would talk about the ocean and how it effects the world. Then you enter a storm where special effects make the water choppy. Giant fans and mist machines would help set the mood. All of a sudden a giant Poseidon AA would ride from the water. (Or rise from the side of the room next to the vehicle) He would says something like “Halt! Foolish Mortals or face the consequences of your actions!) Then the water would open up and you would be engulfed by the ocean. Also the water is not real water in case you were wondering. Just very cool special effects. You would then enter a cave like structure where you glass would be through certain parts of the cave. You could see into what was made to look like the ocean. You would see real fish while the narration talked about the under water world. Your vehicle would then move into the finale where you enter into the tank. You would look like you were underwater with the fish. Completely surrounded by fish. You would then exit into the sea base where you could explore and try different things. Guest could walk through the shark encounter room. This would be on the second floor in that little tunnel. Guest could walk down in the tunnel but would stop at the round room. There would be doors that blocked you from getting in. Some many people would be allowed in at a time. The other guest would wait in a single line to the far left of the hallway to make room for traffic. Inside the room guest would see the glass screens on the sides. You would hear over the intercom about sharks and the way the effect us. (If they do effect us? Do sharks effect us besides eat us?) Then from above a shark would attack the glass screens. Water would then squirt through like he cracked the glass. Then he leaves and comes to the side where he hits it again. This time the water comes some through the sides. Lights flash and the tank goes into shutdown mode. Where it goes dark and fake metal doors cover the screens. That is as far as I got with that idea. Now there would be other cool things to do in the building BUT NO NEMO! I know kids love him but he is not allowed. Fastpass would be available for the ride.

The energy pavilion would receive some major new updates as well. Outside guest could interact with three different "power stations". There would be wind power, solar power and oil power. Cast members would be standing there to show the machines in action and explain the effects of each one. The energy pavilion inside would be turned into a multiple use pavilion. The whole thing would no longer be ride. When you enter through the front as if you are getting in line for Ellen you enter the line for the new omnimover ride. This ride takes you through the history as well as the future of energy. It starts by taking you back to the time of the cave men. You watch ground breaking AA cave men move around a fire. You see them interact and one even try to touch the fire. Your narration shows you how we have been using energy since we first learned about fire. Next we move into a room where you see a giant water wheel. On the right real water is pushing the water wheel which you see is powering the mill above. On the ride you see the front part of a steam train. AA's stand around it and the narration talks about how water was the next major step in the world of energy. Man learned how to use water to his wishes. You then enter the room of oil where we see giant oil rigs in motion. There is also a oil tower standing to the top left of the room. We learn about how oil has been a big step in energy for mankind and that it has helped us power many things. Throughout the ride there would be plenty of small facts much like other rides do. Guest then enter the coal room where we see giant machines processing the coal. There is even a furnace in this part of the room that occasionally blows steam at the guest. The next room is wind power and solar power. We learn about how these have been the next step in the world of energy and how it has provided clean energy for many people. Finally you enter the energy of the future where you learn about and see some of the new ways we are learning to make clean energy. Your ride then exits out in the main energy pavilion which has been converted into multiple things to do and see. There will be a small food kiosk inside that will provide small little snacks. There will be the wind exhibit where you have to crank the wheel in order for the wheel to turn. The more the wheel turns the brighter the lights around the wheel will get. There will also be more things to do as well as a video about energy. Guest can exit and enter this portion through the current exit of the energy ride.

Mission: Space would be given a whole new space theme. This time you are asked to board a the A.S.S. (American Space Station) for a mission through the galaxy. The queue will be set like a space base of sorts basically what it is now. My thought is to maybe change it up a bit so that it looks more like a space station and not a museum of space stuff. The outside façade would be replaced with different planets, but keeping the same big planet thing. Mars would be replaced by Saturn and the moon would be replaced by something like Venus. Earth would stay. Some new lighting would make the entire area look very cool at night. Inside the queue
FP and stand by will merge into the new pre boarding video room. This room would roughly be where you would enter of the doors for the current Mission:Space. A man would come on stating how you are going to be traveling through the Solar System on a new prototype of the A.S.S. This new ship will allow the passage of multiple people and you will experience the cosmos in a whole new way. After the video you are brought into the loading dock where you await to be boarded onto the craft. Guest then are ushered into the giant showroom. When you enter there would be 4 rows of stacked seating like bleachers on the right and left. So guest will face each other when they are seated. Seatbelts are to be worn as well with handle bars on the side if they need them. Further down there would be a giant class window which of course was a screen. Above you there would also be glass. As you are seated you can look and see that you are still on Earth at a loading station. Once seatbelts have been checked the cast member leaves and the room goes dark. You then hear the intercom with the man from before wishing you luck. Then the countdown begins. After it reaches zero you are blasted off, but it doesn't feel intense. No in fact the new A.S.S. has been improved to help lower the G-forces on space missions. You watch as your space ship leaves the Earth and enters space. You then enter a form of light speed where you come to the sun and Mercury. You hear about the information on the sun and how it effects the lives on Earth. You learn about the temp, size and gravitational effects it has on Earth. You then go from planet to planet hearing a short simple introduction. Now I figured there would be two show buildings for guest to enter into. The rides itself will be about 10 minutes long with it only showing randomized shows so you do not know which planets you are going to visit or learn about. This would give guest a reason to return. Trust me the way it moved and shook would be amazing to a lot of guest and would be state of the art. Throughout the ride you would also learn about how NASA and other companies are continuing to evolve by bringing forth new tech much like the A.S.S. The ride ends with you returning to Earth and having a safe, but somewhat bumpy landing. You then are invited to exit and check out the NASA tech room. There would be some cool stuff that I am not sure is possible at the time, but lets pretend it is. In one area guest can enter a room where they can experience what it is like to walk on different planet surfaces. You can experience the surface of the Moon, Mars and Pluto as well as Venus. The lighting and special effect in the room would allow for the room to appear as the floor and atmosphere is changing. Guest could enter at about 5 per time with about 3 rooms for constant capacity. There would also be exhibits of the past rovers and machines made by NASA. There would be no place sets like there are now for the reason that they just look junky.

Test Track would keep the future theme like it does now, but you no longer are going to be testing things. You are going to take a drive through the world of vehicles. The queue is given a more garage of the future like look. It would be made to look something like a place they made cars in the future. You then enter the pre show room where you learn about the sim car. The sim car has many awesome capabilities including speed, braking and other things. They want you to take it on a test drive through their computerized city. You then go and enter your car. The car has lighting effects on it that makes it glow and interact with the surrounding area. You enter the city where special effects and other cool building like structures surround you. (The track is different in here) Since this is all fake you hear a voice saying that want to see how well the car can make sharp turns. So all of a sudden a freak lightning storm happens. Your car then has to dodge the lightning. The cool thing is special effects will make it seem like the lightning is striking right in front of you. Your car makes sharp turns here as well as sudden brake stops. You then are tested on the road conditions. The road has been made to appear wet and you speed up. Your car then freaks out and starts to make a sharp sound. I don't know how this would work but I would make it where the car skids on its side. No like on two wheels but the car turns on its side and starts to almost do a 180. Pretty much how a car will do today on wet roads. He then says he wants to try it on ice. So your car speeds up once again and makes a sharp left turn. This time instead of doing what it did before your car kind of slides. So the back end keeps going while the front end sort of stops. (Once again what some cars will do today) You then move forward as he makes a note to self to work on that. You then enter the rough terrain portion. He wants to see how well you do on off ride courses. So this is kind of what is there now. You speed up in what looks like a forest making sharp turns, but this time your car is bouncing and shaking on the terrain. Towards the top it gets real rough where one moment you run over a log. Your car does a real good bounce to jerk you around. You then finish that portion and move on to the final portion. He calls this the surprise ending and you see a fake computerized car appear. You then start to zoom off onto the outside part of the track. Now the loop part of the track will be placed inside. The only part outside will be short part that is at the front of the ride. This way guest can see the riders. But now you are zooming trying to out race the car that you see next to you. Since it is inside there are screens so you feel like you are racing. The track is lit up and you are zooming by. You end by winning the race and coming out of the computer world. The man thanks you for your help but states the car is not ready for ownership. He then invites you to his lab where you can test some new tech he is working on. You then exit and enter his lab where you can try many hands on things about cars and motion.

I love the disney company as most do. I do like your ideas but disney has to look at things at an overall perspective, they are a global company they have much more than WDW. What we extreme disney fans that have been multiple times and spend time on these boards think should be done is not what the average person thinks. I think this goes back to the thread on the disunplugged board saying do we know to much. Walt's words always were things will never stay the same as long as there is imagination things will always change. I love that idea always improving. A lot of what you are talking about with Epcot is being nostalgic, disney will never go back and revert to old rides there's no point in that. Disney needs to devolve and not look at the past but look at the future. There were reasons that those things were taken away that you have talked about. Disney needs to continue to evolve and build new not look at old blueprints and build attractions from 20 years ago with a different ending. If walt were alive today he wouldn't allow that, that's why there are imagineers to develop new things for the parks. Their main job just isn't to change an old attraction they would much rather build something new and exciting. Epcot is about the future and if you are going to do anything with Epcot you need to focus on that very thing. But even before Epcot gets anything done disney needs to work on parks that aren't exceeding like they should be. Disney also isn't looking to build just because they feel like it, they are making record profits, they don't need a ton of help. DHS will get something new before Epcot does because of those reasons.

I would bring back Vault Disney with the old TV series, and possibly a retro channel.

That shows vintage cartoons in the morning.

Install more speakers or program the existing ones to play the music for Wishes and Celebrate the Magic in restaurants and other viewing locations. We like to watch Celebrate the Magic from Cosmic Ray's. I want to say they used to play the music, but the last few times I've went, it was not playing. The outside eating areas there are great viewing areas for Celebrate the Magic and to see Tink, though you can not see Wishes from there. This would cut down on the crowds a bit that gather all in one place to view these shows.

Better usage of the two sides at Space Mountain. Last time they were doing a better job, but a lot of the time when we go, The right side might be empty, and the left side is spiraled all over the room. i get having room for fastpass folks, but I feel like it could be managed a bit better to allow everyone to get on the ride quicker and still have a short line for fastpass.

Tomorrowland needs some updates. I feel like there is a lot of room there to do things with. It's supposed to be the land of tomorrow...yet it's not getting updated very often. It's more like the land of what yesterday thought tomorrow would be like. Nostalgia is great, I don't want anything torn down there (except MAYBE tomorrowland speedway). It just needs something new.

Turn The treehouse into Tarzan's treehouse like Disneyland did or do something else with it. No one knows what the "Swiss Family" is anymore except parents. I'm 23, and it's before my time. I know what it is because my parents thought it was nostalgic.

The Under the Sea area needs a merch store and maybe a restaurant.

Theme the gift shops better. Instead of having the same stuff everywhere in the park, have more area specific stuff.

Future World in Epcot needs help. A LOT of it...and it wouldn't cost that much money. I won't go into detail because this has been endlessly discussed. Lots of people would just love to be able to go upstairs int he imagination pavilion just to see the glass ceiling. Make it a merch store. Something. It's wasted space that could be bringing in revenue.

Make Figment an interactive ride similar to TSM and Buzz, but make it unique. I barely remember what Epcot used to be like when I was a kid but I've seen AdamtheWoos videos and such. The coloring guns they used to have upstairs could be incorporated. I rode Figment's ride in December, and it just seemed to be missing something. Put guns on the vehicles and have interactive scenes like TSM. Put a picture up and give everyone 30 seconds to color them. Move on to another scene with another activity, use your imagination. If it's anything like TSM, it will bring a huge crowd to future world. Epcot has the slowest growing attendance at Disney. That alone may fix it, and I'm not ride designer but I don't think it would be all that expensive. Leave the track the way it is and use the same building. May also increase Figment sales and make him relevant again.

Burn down Captain EO. It's a joke. No really, we go there for a laugh. Not a funny laugh, a pathetic laugh.

Overall, EPCOT, like Tomorrowland, needs to go back to its roots and purposes. I think Walt would be very disappointed with what it has become. It is supposed to be what the world of tomorrow will look like. Right now it's still what tomorrow looked like 20 years ago. There is nothing mesmerizing about EPCOT. It's nostalgic, which is the opposite of what it's supposed to be.

Hollywood Studios: Alright, here's where my crazy controversial plans come in. The madness I have preached in other threads, and my favorite idea. Hollywood Studios needs another studio to move in. It was made for that. The place hasn't been the same since MGM left. Sign up WB to move in. Warner Brothers Studios, just the name, already would draw a bigger crowd. WB's trademark is a water tower. Modify the Earful Tower to resemble WB's water tower, and add ears to it if you can talk WB into it. That's doubtful, but right now the tower is wasted anyway. No one can see it and it's not being used for any merch. Getting involved with WB would open up Disney to the best deal of them all. Disney can not get Marvel in Orlando. Their biggest competitor has Marvel instead. Do a deal with WB to get DC in Orlando. It would be a shocker, and it would be amazing. Six Flags has the theme park rights. However, there are ways WB can get out of the contract. Find a way to get Disney the theme park rights in Florida only. This would be similar to the way Disney and Universal are. There are no Six Flags parks to compete with in Orlando. This would allow Six Flags to continue with what they are doing...and Disney can only use DC rights in areas a certain distance from Six Flags. This way Disney has Marvel in DL, and DC to compete with Univesal in Orlando. Bring Gotham, Star Wars land, and Lord of the Rings if that deal is done. This makes DHS an incredible park that would skyrocket attendance and compete with Universal directly. This would also get DC a piece of the theme park industry. Right now Marvel is taking it by storm, and they've got to want a piece of the action. Let's be honest, Six Flags is no where near Universal or Disney's level. With Man of Steel, Arrow, and the upcoming rumored Justice League and Batman/Superman titles, they are moving in to the movie industry and competing with Marvel. This is next. There are two major theme parks in Orlando: Disney and Universal. Universal has Marvel and Disney can't. Disney vs Universal, DC vs Marvel...with Disney also getting profits from Universal's free promotion of Marvel. It's a fantastic business decision.

As for Animal Kingdom, fix the Yeti. That's really it. I think with the extending of hours and Avatarland addition, it's pretty much set.

I don't think these ideas would ever happen. Heck I will never even be a cast member for the company let alone own it. I was mainly just talking. I know Walt was inventive, but I just was spouting off ideas. I think if I had more time I would have thought of some better stuff, but I kind of just brushed through it.

Alright I just after some constructive criticism I have spent some more time working on my Epcot plans. This time every ride is new with some form of innovative tech. I hope you enjoy. I also want to make a side note. These ideas are just me talking. I don't believe any of this will happen as I know some of it can not realistically happen.

Mexico is very unique obviously is that it is all inside. Well lets keep it inside. The main thing here that needs to change is the ride. Donald and his little friends are out. This new ride will focus on the history and heritage of the great country of Mexico. Your boat is made to look old and wooden. As you ride you start by passing the volcano that has been there since the beginning. You then enter a forest where you see a small group of Indians. There would be lit fires and Indians walking around. Yes one of the AA’s is going to walk around. You hear over the speakers about how Indians once ruled the land we know as Mexico. How they struggled to survive and they worshiped the Gods. You then would enter a room where you see a temple with people on it. They would have their hands lifted towards the sun as if worshipping it. On the ride side of the boat there would be a field of corn with women working in it. You then enter a room that shows a volcano erupting. People are panicking around you as smoke feels the air. You learn about how many of these great tribes disappeared without a trace. The next room moves to the desert where you see people living in a small town. The year I would say is around the 1600’s. You learn about how people have learned to live in Mexico. You would see people feeding animals in pins and doing things around the house. A little girl would be sitting on the porch playing with a doll made of straw. (Forgive me I do not know much about the history of Mexico.) You then learn about the wars and problems the people have faced over the years. That Mexico has always struggled to earn their freedom. The final scene would be a modern day Mexico with dancing and a party in the street. Celebrating the heritage and wonders of Mexico. Your boat then comes back to the loading dock. I never liked the theme of the loading dock. So it would be re worked to look sort of like an old fishing dock. Now some do not like Disney characters in the park, but honestly I think they can fit if they go in the right place. So they are all moved from Future World into World Showcase. Donald will meet outside the Mexico pavilion like has always done.

Brazil will be the country that is added between Mexico and Norway. The country will be made to look like a small little village on the outskirts of Rio. There will be a quick service location that will serve food inspired by the country. There will be both inside and outside seating. The actually pavilion will be smaller since there is going to be a ride so the quick service location will hold about 150 people inside and out. On the other side there would be a store that sells merchandise that you would find in Brazil. The buildings here would look old and would have things like roofs made out of rusty tin ect. Finally there would be a building that is made to be like the town center building. You can go in and watch a HD video on the history of Brazil. The theater will have a 15 minute show that runs throughout the day. Finally the ride. The ride will be in the back and will be themed to Brazil bus tours. You are going to ride on a small bus that is going to take you through the city of Rio along with the forest and mountains nearby. The queue is themed to an old business looking building that has seen better times. You then board your bus with open sides and move on. Some of the ride is inside while some is outside. You start by traveling through the city learning about the city of Rio and how it was started. There would also be a few surprises like almost running into a fruit cart or a car. You then head outside into the forest. You will see different birds as well as other animals. You also pass by and go through temple ruins. You finally make your way through the dangerous mountains where the roads are narrow. You even come close to following off due to those rolling rocks. Your tour then comes back to the little depot where they thank you for your business. More to come soon. I will have China, Norway, Costa Rica and Venezuela up soon.

I have always loved Norway and I have always loved the ride. To me it has always been one of the better pavilions in World Showcase. The ride is a little cheesy, but my hope is to fix that with a few simple changes. You enter the queue in a forest/cave. As you walk through the cave you come to the big room where you load. You then are on a little pier thing. I always thought the room was so bland so it would be themed now. The roof is painted like the sky while the dividers and walls are themed to old looking wood planks. You then enter your Norwegian boats and set sail. Also the mural is replaced with some sets. There are some houses built and stores built on a dock on the other side of where you load. Above them the mural is replaced with a backdrop of mountains and sky. As your boar takes off you enter the cave lift like the original. As you lift up you hear the narration that is already there. You go through and enter a little village of people. There are more AA’s that are a lot more fluent in their movements. You can also hear real Norwegian dialect take place between them that is louder then what is there now. The narration talks about how the people have always been tied to the sea, and that they were always out looking for adventure. Now from this point the ride would be changed up quite a bit in the track. The next room you enter would be almost like you are on the sea. There would be real water in the room with a machine that makes waves. You may even get wet from the waves that splash the boat. There is lightning effects as well as wind. Your boat is even going to rock. The narration talks about how they faced the roughness and terrors of the sea. Then you enter the more recognizable scene of the trolls. As you enter the forest you are warned that evil powers live in the forest and that the men who looked for adventure in these woods paid with their lives. The trolls then appear above the rocks. These troll AA would be amazing. Amazing movement with each head acting and having its own personality. There would be a smoking pot in front of it that they cast their spell into. They do their little chant and make a spell that will spend you back over the falls. Lighting effects as well as smoke appear as if you are being cursed as your boat transitions. You then race back through the forest into a cave. The cave exits out into the polar bear scene where you boat has slowed down some (Not a lot so that there is still some speed) to see the cool polar bears. The mother polar bear would start on 4 lets and raise up on two as you passed. The narration would talk about how some men searched the northern shores looking for adventure in the frozen tundra. Only they were never seen again. To the left there would be a boat half frozen in ice. You would then enter a forest type room like you did before you dropped. This time your boat does transition to do down the hill forwards. You are going to go down the hill backwards. (The track has been changed so the boat wouldn’t actually go outside like it would now if it went backwards) After the hill you fall down into a small little meadow type area not a oil rig. A man AA is there who talks and tells you that you have found the spirit of adventure in Norway. As he is talking your boat is transitioning to the front mode again. Your boat then moves forward into the small little town where you exit. The town has been refurbished to look like the one in the loading. This way it feels like one town. You can then exit and watch the video on the land of Norway. The film will be replaced with a new HD show. Guest who don’t want to watch can pass through a tunnel that runs behind the theater instead of walking through the theater. You the exit into the gift shops like you do now. The gift shops will sell Norwegian things that you can only find in these stores. No generic Disney merch. The perfume store will be downsized to sell a smaller collection of perfume, because that place REEKS of perfume. The dining location will be refurbished with a slightly new look that still represents the Norwegian theme. The princesses will also continue to meet. The princesses will change though. You will now meet Cinderella, Merida, Jasmine, Aurora and Anna and Elsa since you know they are so darn popular.

China will remain largely the same except the entire pavilion will receive some paint and upkeep. The Mulan meet and greet will be replaced with Mickey since he is leaving Future World. The quick service location will be remolded and more outside seating will be added. The new menu will feature even more Chinese cuisine not just rice, chicken and egg rolls. I think it should have more authentic food from China. The theater will get a brand new film that will play. The theater will remain circle vision but will be go down to be converted to HD. No ride will be added here.

Costa Rica will be a new country that will take over HALF of the outpost in World Showcase. It will take the half closest to China. You will get to experience the wonder and beauty of Costa Rica in this new pavilion. There will be no ride, but there will be a film that allows you to learn about Costa Rica as well as the history. There will also be a quick service location as well as a main dining location. Both will serve cuisine from the country. The main dining location will be a moderate priced place made for families with a decorative, but fun atmosphere. There will be live entertainment that reflects the country inside the restaurant as well as outside. The quick service location will be smaller then most and will have outside and inside seating. The entire area will be themed like a small village along the river. So the river that runs into World Showcase lagoon will be visible. You cant get too close, but you will see fishing boats and docks around the water.

Venezuela will be the second country to take the place of the outpost. (Now some will point out that many of the countries being added were planned. This is true, but I give them my own twist while using some of the old plans) Venezuela will have a ride. The ride will be a elevated tram that goes through the “mountains” of Venezuela. There will be nothing super amazing about the queue besides the details. You will see pictures and other little things in the building waiting. These items will showcase the culture and heritage of Venezuela. The tram will hold 4 people per car with 2 cars connected to each other. People will sit like the peoplemover. The tram will then leave the station and go to the outside portion of the ride. You will be able to get a birds eye view of Venezuela. The way you come out of the station will help you to not see World Showcase. You only want to be in Venezuela. The tram then goes into the mountains. On both sides of the cart you will see screens that will make the mountain seem like it is open and you are looking outside. You will hear a narration about Venezuela and how they live. You will learn about their agriculture and how they grow their food. You will see the giant fields of crops that they are growing. You will also take a tour over the capital city. I don’t have a lot of details on the ride yet so I know it is pretty bland. There will be a steakhouse type restaurant inside the country much like there is in Canada. No name yet but it will be high cuisine like the one in Canada. The only difference is the flavors will be that of Venezuela. Outside there will be a couple stores that showcase merch from the country. There will be no quick service location, but you grab a small snack from the food kiosk set up near the entrance to the pavilion. On the right side you will see mostly rockwork as if the city was built on the mountain. Water will cascade from the mountain into a pool below. Guest can walk to the very back of the pavilion to find a small park like area. This is where you see the tram come out as well as a place to sit and relax.

Germany is known for being a country that missed out on a ride. Well now it will get the ride it was meant to have in a different way. It will still be a boat ride that takes you through Germany, but instead of using the old idea I came up with some new ones. So the restaurant in the back will be take out and turned in the queue for the ride. The queue will be themed to a grand banquet type hall. You then will get into your boat as you sell around Germany. This ride will have no narration, but will simply be a relaxing boat ride through Germany. The ride starts by going down a river through a large meadow. You will see AA cows grazing in the field even walking around. There would be a man or two hoeing at the ground. The next scene will be a city. You will start by passing some little docks where men are tending to their boats. One boat has sprung a leak and you can see a man and wife squabbling over it. You then move further into the town and cross under a little bridge. The cool part is there would be cars that actually move back and forth over the bridge. You would pass my a little market filled with people talking and trying to sell different items. One older lady is trying her best to keep her loud chickens from causing a ruckus. You then pass by one of Germanys old churches. I cant think of a name of one, but there is some. You can hear the church bell ring as well as people singing inside. You finally pass into a small little village. You can see kids playing as well as sheep sleeping and moving around. The final scene is inside a German pub where you find people dancing and singing together happily. The unloading dock is made to also look like a pub so it is like you are leaving and getting out into the pub. Germany will also receive some paint and touch ups to the rest of the country.

Switzerland was a country once planned for World Showcase, but it never got past a single piece of concept art. Well now the little area between Italy and Germany will become Switzerland. Switzerland will also feature the first coaster inside Epcot. Now some people will find it closely related to the Matterhorn at Disneyland. It is not. The only similarity is that it will be themed to Switzerland and you will ride in bobsleds. Switzerland will have a small little chocolate store where you can get homemade chocolate. Sort of like the caramel store in Germany. There would also be a small little quick service location for those who want some food. The place will service classic food like burgers and fries but with a Switzerland twist. The bobsled ride will be at the very back of the land. The mountain will be made so that it will not stick out in the sight lines of Germany and Italy. The mountain will be shorter then the Matterhorn for this reason. The theme here is that this mountain is famous for skiing for many years. Before there was a ski lift people had to use old bobsleds to get to the top. The bobsleds were very popular and took guest through the mountain to the top. They also took guest from the top to the bottom. Eventually a ski lift was built and the bobsleds were abandoned. Well now the ski lift has broken and the bobsleds are opened back up. The only problem is that the track is far from usable. This doesn’t stop the people of Switzerland from letting people get on. You know get to take the bobsled to the top of the mountain, but the bobsled company is very clear they are not responsible if you are smashed, banged or eaten? In fact signs likes these are all over the line. Also there will only be one track with a bobsled that holds 12 people. 2 cars with 6 rows of two. You can tell something is wrong when your sled pulls up. The paint is very faded and looked like they haven’t been used in ages. You get in and head to the mountain. You are stopped right before you enter and watch as the car before you disappears into the mountain. You and your partners lap bar are checked before going into the mountain. Your car enters the dark mountain and you are blown with cold air. As you go up the lift you can hear the track popping and cracking. The sound effects for the ride are going to really set the mood. All of a sudden you look and see the track that should take you to the top is to the right, but why are you going left? You skid down into the dark hole through the left side and reach high speeds. (This also goes WAY faster then the Matterhorn) Sharp curves and the dark enclosed caves make it impossible to see anything. All of a sudden you see signs flashing by saying to stop and go back. Finally you realize ahead of you that the track is broken! Your car starts to make a screeching sound as it comes to a halt. It doesn’t make it in time and slowly starts to edge over the side. The front car goes over and the second car starts to lean in when suddenly the car stops! Your cart makes a slight bounce as if hung on a wire. You sit there for just a few moments looking down into the dark. Then you hear the sound of the wire popping. Before you do anything your wire breaks and you plummet down the hill. You then reach high speeds as you make the final turns and drops of this ride. You then exit out into the outside where you make one more sharp turn before reaching the station. Make sure to stop by the gift shop for all of your bobsled needs!

Italy will remain the same…..new paint and some upkeep….the end.

Between Italy and America will be Russia. Now yes there is some controversy surrounding Russia especially now, but dang it I think it would be pretty cool. And yes it was planned at one point. The Russia pavilion will be very cool looking with that giant thing in Moscow that I always thought looked like candy when I was a kid. It will also have the lights on it so at night it lights up. Inside is where you go to a museum/film about Russia. You can go in and look at the different exhibits and leave or stay to watch the film. There will also be a ride. On this four people will ride on a sleigh. You will ride through the little towns and villages of Russia. There will also be a part where you ride through the woods and down a few slopes. Outside the main building with the video there will be a building to the right. The building will be like a business where a man makes wooden sleighs. He wants you to try them out for him. So you go through his store and see all of his cool wood carving that he has made. You then go into the back where you load up on his sleigh. The loading station is made to look like the backside of the building. So there would be a forest as if the forest was behind his workshop. The sleigh goes into the woods where you ride merrily along for a few moments. All of a sudden a tree starts to crack. This is cool because the tree will fall quite a ways before stopping. Your sleigh will of course miss the tree and continue on its way. Things don’t stay smooth for long since there are wolves in front of you. A wolf is standing on a rock surrounded by others. He howls into the wind and the wolves start to growl at you. Your sleigh picks up speed as if going slightly down hill. Which is lucky for you. Your sleigh during the entire ride is constantly bumping up and down when it goes over different things. So things get a little bumpy when running from the wolves. As one point your sleigh makes a turn just as a wolf swipes at you. You then exit the forest into a little village. (Ignore the fact the sleigh is still moving) You go through at a pretty quick speed through the village and almost known over a women. You hear her yelling as you pass her by at an quick pace. You then make a bank as your cart skies down the side of a snow drift. The ride ends on a more fun note where you sleigh goes down a slope. There is only lap bars on the ride and there is no height requirement so the hill is not to big. The ride then pulls back into the station and you exit into the workshop/store. This is where you can buy unique wood carvings. You can even watch a wood carver do his thing. As you exit into the plaza you can take in some of the details of the area. In the middle there is a fountain surrounded by different planters. The entire area is sort of like a little plaza, but the entire pavilion is always in winter. So the buildings have a thin sheet on snow on them, but nothing thick. (The worst part is the snow doesn’t melt like you will during the summer) The building closest to the entrance of the pavilion, and connected to the ride, is a quick service location. This location will be fairly large and will feature Russian cuisine. On the other side there would be two large stores. Remember this place is made to look like a small village plaza. One is a small quick service location that serves specialty drinks and snacks. It will have indoor seating and limited outdoor seating. The store next to it closest to the pavilion entrance will be a store that sells clothing and accessories themed to Russia. Don’t look anywhere else for this merch, because it will only be in this store.

America will continue to hold onto the great theme that it has always had. The overall themeing of the area is spot on. I thought about removing the stage and bringing it back when there is an event or festival, but I decided against it. Now the American Adventure show will stay where it is. The show will be brand new with a whole new video and script. Ben Franklin and the other AA’s will be replaced with high tech state of the art AA’s. The queue will have always changing exhibits that celebrate the history and wonder of America. Now I thought about replacing the show with a ride. Then I decided against it and had the idea to place the ride behind it. When you walk to America from Italy you can look to your left and see that gate which leads to the land behind it. The land behind it is empty so I decided to make an expansion to the land. First I would build some new facades starting where the gate is back. To give it the feel of a street. The entrance to the ride is starts with the staff gate is. The first portion of the queue is outside. You then enter a building where you get ready to board a omnimover type vehicle. (I thought individual carts at first, but I think World Showcase needs a omnimover) The ride will be called “Land of the Free” The ride will go through the history and struggles that America faced before becoming independent. You will pass scenes like the Revolutionary war, the making of the American flag, and the signing of the Declaration of the Independence. The AA’s will be state of the art and the battle scene will be very cool. Lighting and smoke will make this scene one of the most memorable of the ride. The final scene will be going through the streets of Pennsylvania with people waving flags and singing Glory Glory Hallelujah. (That is an American song right? That be awkward if not) Other scenes in the ride will include fighting in the streets, the Boston Tea Party ect. So what do you think?

Japan has always been a pretty cool country, but you look towards the back of the pavilion and you know something was meant to go there. Well now there is. There once was a train ride planned for this area. It didn’t get past the idea of building a train, but I am going to give some ideas to go with it. You are going to board a bullet train that will take you around the country of Japan. The entrance to the ride will be at the back and guest will exit into the store. The queue is themed like a train station, but has been decorated to fit the traditional Japanese theme. So basically a non modern Japanese station. Then your train pulls into the station and a total of 35 people per train can get in. There is exactly enough seating for everyone and parents with babies can sit them in their lap since strollers are left outside. There are also handle bars for people who need them. A cast member joins each train to make sure everyone remains seated throughout the ride. Now the tech being used for the new Harry Potter area inspired me to do the same for this ride. Basically the ride would be half real film and half digital. The track the train moves on is not very big and the train moves very slow. The mechanical factor of the train will make the train vibrate and make it seem much faster. Guest will also hear over the intercoms about the different areas they are seeing. You will see farmland, cities, mountains, villages ect. The ride starts by leaving the station and exiting into a modern city. It is nighttime in the city and some people will realize it is Tokyo. You will whiz by at a slow enough speed to take everything in. The quality of the scenes will look like real windows. You then pass through a tunnel where the train goes dark except the passing lights you see in the tunnel. You then enter farmland where you see farmers gathering food. You hear about the different crops they grow and how they harvest them. The ride continues like this until you are dropped off at a different station. This station will unload you into the store where they sell toys. The only difference is this toy store will be split in half. The side where you exit will be turned in a old Japanese store that sells different antiques and Japanese items. Then the other half will continue to be the toy store. The Sushi restaurant will remain open and will release a new line of Sushi, because Sushi is amazing.

Spain will be added between Japan and Morocco. Spain will be themed to a small town on the water. There will be one quick service location that will serve classic dishes from Spain. It will be moderate size, but will not be super large. There will also be a small store that sells small Spanish items. The boat ride will be an outside boat ride. The boats will be covered for when it rains. You ride in a small fishing boat down the rivers of Spain. You hear a narration about how Spain has relied on the rivers and oceans. I don’t have much detail on this ride right now so I don’t know what else to say about it. There will be some AA fishermen at one point during the ride and you will see them hoist a net of fish into the boat. There will also be some AA animals as well as a whale come out of the water.

Morocco is a country I feel doesn’t need a ride. To me the entertainment and atmosphere of the area is enough of an attraction. The area will be painted and given some general upkeep. The restaurants would add new dishes, and all generic merch would be removed from the stores.

France is yet another country that doesn’t need a ride. To me the area is once again a place that doesn’t need one. If you have any ideas for a ride let me know. Minnie will also meet guest here under the pavilion Aurora use to meet guest. The film here will be replaced with a new film about France. The film would also be in digital HD.

The United Kingdom is a great place to grab some fish and chips or maybe a candy bar from the candy store. So once again I have decided to leave good enough alone. I think these countries do not need rides as people shouldn’t be crowding into each country to ride a ride.

Canada would receive the same treatment. It would be painted and the generic merch would be removed. The steakhouse would be revamped with a new high class menu. O’Canada would be given a new film in HD as well. The film would highlight the important aspects of Canada. Some more rockwork would be added to the top of the rocks to help block the view of the show building that Sorian use to be in. Although I don’t imagine it would block it completely.

Epcot in general would continue to have their festivals. A new parade would be added to Epcot, but nothing with big floats. Entertainment would be all throughout the park and a new firework show would be added.

Hollywood Studios is going to see the most work obviously. This park needs some serious help

Hollywood Blvd is one of the few places in the park that could basically be left untouched. The stores and facades are all great and showcase the glory days of Hollywood. Of course a few major changes would have to take place. The first is the hat. It is gone and obviously it is about time. The hat has run its course much like the wand and hand did at Epcot. So the hat would be removed and returned back to the planter that it once was. The Great Movie Ride will see an overhaul with new tech and amazing new movies. When you enter the ride you will notice that the props in the line have been changed out. You might come back in several months and notice they changed again. This is part of keeping new props showcases in the ride. When you enter the theater section of the queue you will watch the screen to see some of the movies you will be crossing into. The screen will be in HD and will run longer so people don’t have to watch multiple re runs. You then enter the loading section of the ride. The point here is to go from a set to into the movies. So I decided to keep the set look, but make the set look more realistic on one side. So on the side with the giant mural I would replace it with house facades. It would be made to almost look like we were shooting from Beverley Hills or Sunset Blvd. The other side would remain the studio look. The carts would be the same except they would be painted blue now. Your tour guide would introduce themselves while the classic music begins to play. You enter the tunnel, but instead of neon lights there are special lighting effects. These effects make it fell like you really are magically being transported into the movies. The first section is famous musicals and will feature old and some recent movies as well. The first movie to replace footlight parade is Les Miserable (I know that is not how you spell it, but I think you know which movie I speak of) This movie is newer but was a smashing hit. So on your right you would see a small street corner much life from the movie. AA’s will be waving flags out of the windows and on the streets. Singing the ending song from the movie. On your left the wall has been replaced and you see some of the famous actors from the movie including Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway. The next scene to replace singing in the rain would be “Sound of Music” A classic musical that features a classic lady. On the left side you would see a Julie Andrews AA standing and singing the song from the opening of the movie. On the right side you would see fields with a stream running through as well as houses in the distance. The final musical to be represented is “Singin in the Rain”. Yea I know why move it to another spot, but I wanted to give singing in the rain a bigger room. So you come in the room and new special effects make it seem like it is raining. There are even puddles on the ground that keep getting hit by raindrops. The three main characters from singing in the rain are doing exactly that…singing in the rain. I figured the entire cast could be inside the room instead of one person. The room would be themed to a neighborhood. Next we have actions movies….and yes your guide is still going to leave. The first movie is “War of the Worlds”. You enter the room and right above you is a giant robot that has become inactive. He is leaning against the building and the sound effects make it sound like the building will give way any moment. To the left of the vehicle a spark effect shoots out a light pole multiple times. The entire street is abandoned until you get to the end. To your right is another inactive robot, but you only see his head. The buildings are set up so that it looks like the rest of it is behind the buildings. To your left you see guys who looks like muggers. All of a sudden you hear some guys to the left talking. Your guide is curious so they decide to go and investigate to see what is going on. Well when they get off the lead mugger grabs them and pushes them. Then two AA’s stand up from behind a wall of debris and point their guns at the guide. The mugger tells the guide that they are going to be taking over the little party, and that everyone needs to get out of the vehicle. Before anyone can respond the robot on the other side suddenly activates and makes that loud sound from the movie. His head rises a little bit and the two AA men start to shoot. Special effects on the robot make it look like the bullets bounce off of it. The robot then shoots a energy beam at the two men. Now unlike the movie there is no tech to make a beam to do that. So the guns on the robot light up and make the shooting sound. Then bright strobe lights along with smoke and sparks go up around the men and they disappear. The guide then runs off while the mugger grabs the vehicle. Now it would be corny if they robot set and let the slow moving vehicle leave so the robot deactivates right as the mugger gets in the car. You then move into the next scene. (If it is busy this where some guides are kidnapped.) You enter “G.I.JOE” You are inside a facility of some sort. To the right there is a balcony where two scientist are talking and one even walks away. To the left a solider is standing where the cowboy did and tells you about the facility. He talks about the mission to stop Cobra. As you move through the scene you will see many AA’s working on high tech computers. So lots of eye candy to see in this scene. As you reach the end an alarm goes off. Red lights are flashing and the AA’s are looking around. Suddenly to the left Cobra operatives come out of the door. One of them is the leader and the one who would replace the guide. He forces the guide to leave the vehicle and claims it for Cobra Then to the right two soldier AA’s appear and start to shoot at the people. Your guide runs off and the leader makes his way to the car. Since there were fire machines in that wall I figured why not keep them behind the set. So all of a sudden the leader detonates the bombs he planted inside the building. Fire spouts out of the door and some of the “vents” on the wall. The scientist AA’s behind you are freaking out and acting as if they are seeing the commotion take place. This helps make the scene believable. If your guide has already been kidnapped before then the fire just blows out and the alarms come on as if you were hit by a bomb. The next scene is Prometheus. A perfect match since Alien was the original movie here. You enter and the whole thing comes on about the ship and how the crew has died. It announces the main actress from the film and you move into the ship. To the right you can see outside onto the planet the film is based on. To your left the tunnel Ripley use to stand in has doors at the entrance. Behind the doors you see lights flashing and a room that has been destroyed by something. Then the alarm goes off and big tentacle things come from out of the roof. (That squid thing from the movie) Strobe lights and smoke make it very intense. The tentacles retreat from the hole as if the monster leaves. But he is not the only monster on the ship. Next to your right you see a giant AA monster forcing itself through the door. That one from the movie. The door is not opening enough for him to get in, but he is reaching for you. There is also smoke and light effects that give the place a sense of urgency. The next scene would Prince of Persia. You would be in the temple where you see Dustan and his uncle fighting over the dagger. The cool thing is the AA’s would be high-tech enough to where they can walk and lunge at each other without the people seeing the platforms under their feet. Behind them the dagger would be glowing and floating in the air with special effects. Wind would also be blowing on the guest. The next scene is where your guide returns, and it kind of follows the same thing. “Indiana Jones: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” is the movie. Indiana is standing by this little doorway next the crystal skull. The mugger thinks it will get him money while the Cobra leader wants it as a weapon. So both try to get up there to get it. Indiana Jones tries to warn them that if the skull will kill those deemed unworthy. The people grab it anyway and smoke, lights and screams make it sound as if the man is dyeing. You then see nothing but the skull of the person. So pretty similar to the original. The Indy takes his hat and jacket off to reveal it was actually your guide. (Luckily the girls or boys don’t have to talk) Your guide returns and you enter the scenes of famous movies. The room with all the skulls becomes “The Hunger Games”. Yes I know this film is a controversy but I like it. Since this wont ever happen anyway I might as well dream. The scene is the capital where you see many AA’s dressed as the people. You also see Katniss and Peeta standing with Effie. The guide talks about the movie some but you move on to the next scene fairly quickly. The Tarzan scene becomes Narnia. Little Lucy is standing next to the lamp post with Mr. Thomas. They are talking and you can see the castle in the distance. To the left you see the queen and her wolves hiding amongst the trees. Next the Casablanca scene is replaced by “Gone With the Wind”. You would see both famous actors standing and talking to each other at the foot of their grand staircase. The Fantasia room would stay exactly that. The walls would be opened up and both sides would be Fantasia gardens. Hippo AA’s are dancing in the distance with the Crocodiles. On the right Mickey is standing on a rock guiding broom AA’s that walk around the rock with buckets. The final scene is still the Wizard of Oz because I ran out of ideas and couldn’t think of anything else. The AA’s are a lot more complex and high tech. The lighting is amazing and there is actually real water in the stream. Finally you enter the final room which has been refurbished into what looks like a giant theater. The lights go out and you watch a montage of classic films.

American Idol can die and be burnt to the ground for all I care. It was very cool to begin with, but now the show doesn’t even get a half full theater. (Now that depends on the season, but on average they don’t) So the show building will be replaced with a ride. Yep there is going to be…..SUPERSTAR LIMO! No just kidding I wouldn’t do that so don’t freak out. I actually think a show would do good here. The park needs rides, but when you add rides you are going to need people eaters. A show does this, plus a park about Hollywood needs shows. I am thinking something along the lines of Hercules for the first show. The outside would be given a look to match the rest of Hollywood. In fact the new design would be based off some sort of building from Hollywood like the rest of the buildings. The inside would be decked out and that slope thing would be fixed. I know that would take some work but the floor and entire building would become level. Instead of entering by stairs you will enter by double doors at the corner of the building. The corner would roughly be where the giant TV is now. Guest would then be allowed to wait around in the lobby type room. Where they would then be ushered into the theater. The statues of famous stars would be replaced with a meet and greet of the characters in the show so in this case Hercules and Meg.

Sunset Blvd is yet another street that is great but could be better. Tower of Terror stays with only a few minor enhancements. The streets is expanded in two different areas which will become mini lands but will be classified under Sunset Blvd. The first is where Beauty and the Beast is. The theater will be demoed and the whole area behind it will be come Sunset Square. This is where the new Cathay theater would be built. So the mini one on Sunset currently would be given a new façade. The theater would be a new theater to replace the old one. There will also be a Starbucks and a ice cream polar. The star bucks will not be called star bucks but will be themed to old Hollywood. In the middle of the square is a fountain surrounded by planters. Citizens of Hollywood would start to perform in this area as well giving them more places to be. The theater will start off by showing “Frozen: The Musical”. We all knew it was going to happen anyway. The main reason there is food places on this street is because Hollywood Studios really needs places like that. Now ‘Rockin Roller Coaster” will be leaving in place of a new mini land. This land will be called Sunset Point and still be considered part of Sunset Blvd. The theme of this area is that this was one another busy section of Hollywood. There were many stores and high classes places to dine at Sunset Point. Many people stopping to stay at the Hollywood Tower Hotel loved to come and dine in one of the nicer establishments. This place was the true golden spot in Hollywood until the fateful night at the Hollywood Tower Hotel next door. Once the hotel closed its doors people didn’t want to come to Sunset Point. Eventually the stores and restaurants ran out of business and moved away. They only left the abandoned buildings behind. Now gangs have moved into this part of town and have taken over. When you enter many of the facades are building fronts that have been abounded. The windows are boarded up and windows above are broken. Across the way the you can enter the warehouse for the ride in this area. No name yet but I will get one. Basically cops are trying to stop some of the gangs in the area and they want to send you in undercover. So you go to the pre show room where you hear from the leader of the cop squad about your mission. Afterwards you continue to move through the abandoned warehouse till you move to your undercover vehicle. The outside of the building is obviously not going to look like a sound stage. It will look like a warehouse and the building will be shorter to help with sight lines. Store fronts will be on the front of the warehouse that it doesn’t look like a bland warehouse. The building also would be pushed back for more room. The parking lot next door would be used for a new quick service location and store. Both would be old stores that gang members have taken over and placed in some form of business. The quick service will be smaller since there is a large one in front of Tower of Terror. It will sell specialty burgers, seasoned fries and spicy chicken. Anyway back to the ride. The ride will be what the Spider-Man ride is. Except you wont need 3-D glasses to experience the 3-D. The new screens will make things pop out without the glasses. So anyway your vehicle goes out of the building and exits into the street. The streets are abandoned obviously and you can tell they are dangerous. I don’t know much about the ride itself yet, but some of the highlights will include getting shot at by gangs, running from other cars, almost going head on with a car, and trying to get out of a building on fire.

Get rid of illuminations! Thats a bold move, maybe just an update or enhancement I think its one of the best firework shows out there. It's only second to world of color.

I think enhancements is a better word. I really like the music.
