If you press pennies in the parks, I found a great product. They are called Pennybandz. You can order them from buybandz.com and any order over $10 ships for free. They are really nice quality, and I'm really impressed with them.

They have bracelets or pendant on a cord necklace. I chose the pendants since we will already have Magic Bands.

The customer service is excellent...I made a mistake in ordering (I ordered as a surprise for my kids, only to find out that my youngest son has a new favorite color) and when I sent an email asking to exchange, they were super helpful and friendly about it.

I don't know how to post a picture, but if you go to the website, you can see them. They come in all different colors.

We have a phrase over here: "They saw you coming"!

You so don't need to buy a $7 silicon band which will hold one pressed penny in it. Just think how many pennies you could press with that $7!! (28?)

We have a saying too "Don't be rude" ;)

Thanks OP for sharing. :thumbsup2

This is pretty neat. I'm not a pressed penny collector but I must say, this is a pretty cool way to display your favorite pressed penny.

Otherwise they just sit in a book. Great find, I'm sure other collectors will appreciate the link!

Wow...it never ceases to amaze me that on a board about the happiest place on earth there can be some really unpleasant comments. :sad2:

It seems to me that there is always something "better" you could be doing with the money you spend on souvenirs, but for us, the memories are more important. Luckily, we don't have to choose between the band and the pennies... we can have both. I feel fortunate and blessed to be able to do that for my children, and I consider it a $7 well spent if they can have a keepsake that helps them remember their special time in Disney World.

That's a pretty cool idea! :)

My DD actually uses a metal punch on the top of some of her pressed pennies, attaches a jump ring then slides them onto necklaces that way. Either way, it's fun to come up with new uses for our favorite Disney things!

I'm not rude and I'm not miserable. I'm British. I'd rather spend the $7 getting $7-worth of pressed pennies and then displaying them.

People will always come up with ways to make you part with your money.

For ways to part with money, pressed pennies seem like a good one. Spend fifty cents to destroy a cent? People value different things, tons of things are a waste of money depending on the view.

But I love them. That band is not my style, but others like it. Why ruin that for them?

I just saw a bracelet made by punching holes on each side and attaching with jump rings. Now I can't wait to plan another trip so I can squish enough pennies to make a bracelet!

Yes, my DD has done that, too! You can actually use a really thick needle and a craft hammer to easily make the holes. Have fun!! :thumbsup2

Speaking of pressed pennies, right before we left we found the Elsa pressed penny, but never did find Anna or Olaf. Anybody know where they are?
