Everyone may already know this, but Walgreens has Purex Complete 3 in 1 on sale this week for $5.99 with $2 register rewards.

This is a new product with detergent, fabric softener and anti-static in one. You put it into the wash and it goes into the dryer with your clothes too. I haven't tried it yet, but I bought some today to try...thought this would be a great alternative to packing even small trial size liquid detergent and fabric sheets.

Also, there is a manufacturer coupon available for $1 off. I hope it is ok to post the link here, if not, mods please remove.

Scroll to the bottom of the page to where it has the product name and it will take you to a page explaining the product. At the top you can click on where it says print coupon. You can print 2 per IP address, I believe.

Hope this helps someone!:)

They have vending machines of laundry products in the laundry rooms.

I bought a travel size of All at Target - enough for 2 washes.

Thanks for the coupon!. These will be great for our DVC stay. We'll have the washer and drier, and want to bring a min. amount of clothes. these will travel well.:thumbsup2

Awww, crap, I just bought the purex laundry sheets but missed the coupon!:guilty: I tried them out here at home before I packed them and they work great! no mess no fuss, I love it-perfect for travel :)

I found them at KMart with a $1.50 coupon so I tried them. I've used them on several loads of laundry and they work really well. I was surprised. I haven't tried using them along with bleach though. I'm wondering how they'll work with that. I think they'll be great for WDW trips.

Is it solid or liquid? Don't forget the liquids and gels rule at the security checkpoint.

I noticed this in our Sunday paper too. Great news, because I cannot find the product I used to bring to WDW which was in sheet form and so easy to pack and use (I don't recall its name at the moment). So this is great timing for me. :thumbsup2

How many sheets are in the Purex pack? I purchased something different (similar, but with a different name) at the PX. It was $4.99 for 10 sheets. I don't plan on doing more laundry than that.

Can someone explain register rewards to me. I'm confused! :confused3

Well, this particular sale ends tonight, bu with WG register rewards you purchase the product, and then at the and of the transaction a register coupon pops out for $2 off your next purchase. I did two transactions. Paid $4.99 for the first product (after the printable coupon) then paid $2.99 for the second package after the printable coupon and the $2 rewards coupon.

It's just like CVS extra care bucks if you are familiar with that.

Glad that I could help out with the link. This is likely not a product I would spend extra money for, but it will be great to take several of these along on our Aug. trip to save the $ of having to buy detergent and fab. softener there.

Another idea for detergent~ SAMPLES!!!

I was reorganizing my laundry area yesterday and came accross a Tide, Downy, and Bounce sample I'd received in the mail over the last year but hadn't used yet. I've decided to save them for my next trip! I used to be on one of those money saving sites ALL the time and always signed up for random samples. They are small, one time use amounts so they fit in the luggage and I didn't have to buy them! :cool1: :yay:

Do those of you who have tried these think they work as well as what you normally use? I also have sensitive skin and some brands make me itchy. Thanks.

I think they work ok, but then I don't buy high priced detergents...I usually buy A&H or the like. These do appear to come in 3 varieties (I bought 1 of each) two are scented, and the third is a "pure" variety. If you try one, you might want to try that variety. I couldn't find it at WG, but did find the Pure at CVS.

Last trip I bought travel sizes. But really, they are super expensive when you think about how many loads per dollar.

This trip, I'm using an idea I read on these boards and I couldn't believe I hadn't thought of it myself. I bought the powder detergent, measured out the amount for one load into zip-lock baggies, and made several of these "handmade sample sizes". When I sealed them I was very careful to push out all the air and make sure they were flat. I then put them all in a larger ziplock and again pushed out all the air. Very packable and very cheap.

The laundry facilites do have detergent for sale, but it is a few buck a load. When you are already paying a few bucks just to do the laundry, that adds up quick.
