If you only had one ts meal where would you go?

We will be on the QSDP b/c that works best for us. We always have one nice sit down meal. We've done Boma, Biergarten, Jiko, Brown Derby, 50s Prime Time, Wolfgang Puck, and Nine Dragons. We have 3 boys ages 14, 11, and 8. Suggestions?

Ohana for sure! Get to the poly an hour early and take the mini racer boats out for 30 minutes!

Depends what you're looking for, but my family's all-time-favorite-dining-experience-anywhere-in-the-whole-wide-world (not just Disney World) is Hoop Dee Doo Review!!! It's great fun for all ages.

It's the whole experience, not just the food. We also love 'Ohana before EWP and watching Wishes from the beach.

I would suggest Trail's End at WL Campgrounds.
Your boys might like the boat ride (it's quite long) and very enjoyable. The ribs and chicken at Trail's End are great! The salads and side dishes are also yummy, it's all-you-are-to-eat (if that matters). There's also pizza. The decor is cowboy cookhouse. When I ate there there were many family with teenage kids and they seemed to enjoy it.

I would pick Ohana. The atmosphere, the food, all of it makes a great meal experience that was my favorite of my last trip.

You have GROWING boys . I would pick a buffet that you all like, Maybe Cape May --It is a seafood Buffet. If seafood is an issue then Maybe the new Mexican Restaurant.

My sister has two boys that each ate a meal and a half when they went out. Sister was so funny she would say what I spent on prom dresses she spent on extra food for her boys . Neither one of them is over weight nor have they ever been-- they were just growing faster then she could feed them.

You can have the boys look at the Alears site menus and she what interests them.

No matter have fun and enjoy your meal with family.

Dinner with a show: Raglan Road

We go often and have kids 20, 17 and 15. The 15 year old boy loved Raglan Road on his solo trip with us a few weeks ago! The entertainment is all around and keeps kids busy. I regretted not eating their sooner with all the kids because the entertainment would have kept them from using each other as entertainment (typical boy horseplay) during meals!!!

I've been thinking about this same question, as our next trip is likely to be on the QS plan. My problem is I can't decide if we want to go somewhere we have been, or try something new. Also, do you want a signature dining experience or something a little cheaper (although, let's face it, what's cheap in WDW). Finally, I've stayed away from buffets in the past b/c I don't feel I get my money's worth, but between DH and 12 year old DS with the hollow leg, they would more than make up for me.

So, all that said:

Signature: California Grill (although reviews for Artist's Point have been excellent of late)

Non-Signature: Places we have been before category: Kona Cafe, have always had a great meal here, plus, love the Poly.
Places we have never been before: Saana

Buffet/All You Can Eat: Germany's Biergarten (would pick Cape May based on reviews, but DS not a seafood fan)

With kids we tend to do places at WDW that have a fun theme or atmosphere that sets them apart from restaurants we eat at home. Our personal favorites are:

Sci Fi, Prime Time, 'Ohana, Hoop Dee Doo Review, Coral Reef, Chef Mickey's and Boma (dinner).

We are doing the QSDQ in June and picked Sci Fi, Ragland Road and Crystal Palace breakfast for our three sit downs (we have a two week trip). I have a boy who is 16 and a girl who is 14 btw.
