We will be at Disney April 17th - 19th, Sunday Monday & Tuesday. If you had a 3 day basic pass & wanted to go to MK, AK, & Epcot. Which order would you do it in? I had heard the Mondays are usually the busiest day at MK, is this true?

Thanks princess:

I'm going to be there the same time as you. So I've been researching EMH and such.

Since you won't be park hopping (by the sounds of it) here's my suggestions. If you are staying onsite and want to take advantage of EMH then you'll need to work those days into the plan, otherwise avoid an EMH if at all possible.

Also, look into the spectro and wishes schedule. Spectro is showing several nights in a row right then, so if you don't want to see then plan MK (if possible on a non-spectro non-EMH day---that would be your least busy day). If you do want to see Spectro then you'll have a few to pick from. Here's a link to the hours info.

It will really depend on several factors:

Can you use EMH? If so follow that schedule.
What will the park hours be for each park? Go with the park open the longest.
Do you have young children? This might limit the time you can spend in the park.
What parades and fireworks do you want to see? Check the schedule.

The parks will probably be very busy due to many schools having spring break during April. Be prepared with a plan for each park and maximize FastPass!

"During regular attendance periods, our parks tend to be the busiest on
the following days:
Magic Kingdom: Monday, Thursday, and Saturday
Epcot: Tuesday and Friday
Disney-MGM Studios: Sunday and Wednesday
Disney's Animal Kingdom: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday"

With that being said, I would choose....
Sunday - Animal Kingdom
Monday - Epcot
Tuesday - MK (save the best for last)

Since you didn't say they were park hopper passes then I would recommend doing Disney/MGM, MK and Epcot. The days others have listed will work. Ak, although worth seeing, is not a full day park so you will be wasting a lot of the paid admission.

If you have park hopper passes then you could use half a day at AK, half at D/MGM, full days at MK and Epcot.

Oh, my!! Look at that number below!
:smooth:

If you are doing AK for one of your days, that would give you some time to see some of DTD and the resorts. I agree it is somewhat of a waste of a day's ticket, but if you go to AK and see/do everything you want there, then it really isn't a bad deal. :earsboy:

If you're staying onsite, I would recommend doing AK on Sun. 4/17. It's a EMH evening and you could get an extra 3 hours in after the rest of the crowds leave. If you're staying offsite, avoid the AK and visit EPCOT instead.

On Mon. 4/18, it's an EMH morning at EPCOT. Go there if you're onsite but visit MK if you're offsite. The MK will be open until 10pm that night.

On Tues. 4/19, it's an EMH morning at MGM with EMH night at EPCOT. If you have not visited AK by now, do it. If staying onsite, head to the MK.

Orgiinally we were going to do AK for DD, but after reading what you all have said, & it makes perfect sense, we talked to her. She was talking about AKL!

MGM we have done so many times & we are not really into it since we are going to do Universal.

So I thought we would do MK & 2 Epcot. Spend 1 day traveling the world & the other with the sciences.

Thank you BYtheblood, I was seaching for that & couldn't find it anywhere.
