if you know Joe Morelli, Stephanie Plum and Lula, I want to talk to you!

has anyone used the Bulgari Green shower gel that Ranger has? I guess it's a real shower gel and line of products.

the next book comes out on Nov 20.........

and I read somewhere that they are in negotiations about a second film so there is hope afterall. :):cool1:

I finally saw an actress who Looks like how I picture Stephanie -- Rachel Leigh Cook as she appears in "Perception."

I never did see the movie. Was it any good?

it WAS good -- it wasn't earth shattering, but it was fun. Some of it was a bit different then the book.

I was in our local college bookstore over the weekend and they had the next book out FOR SALE! I got to actually sit down with it for about 5 minutes -- I couldn't buy it because it was hardback and 29.95 and I couldn't afford it! But I got to look thru it for a very short (too short) time. I can't WAIT! It doesn't come out legally until tomorrow the 20th but somehow.....someone goofed up there! They had it out for sale.

I have heard of other stores having the book out early too. For #18, there were reviews a few days before the official release as stores had them out. Was what you read any good?

So... all of us went out and got our books back in November, I am guessing we devoured them in just a couple of days, some of us have probably re-read them a time or two by now.

How are we all doing while waiting for the next one? Any withdrawals? Any brilliant ideas for dealing with a Ranger-less existence?

I know I have been SO in the mood lately. I have re-read several of the books (and have one more that I don't own on hold at the library). I have watched the One for the Money movie a couple of times. I have tried reading some of the other series. I never liked Diesel and his books, so not those, but I am reading the "Full" series that she co-authored with Charlotte Hughes. It is OK, not great, but passing the time. I have even sunk to reading Stephanie and Ranger fan-fic on the net. Sigh.

I read the other day that book Twenty is due out in "the fall" sometime. That makes me feel a little better, but "fall" is a long time away.

I have a couple of other books sitting on the nightstand to read, but none of them are appealing to me at the moment. I will probably have to make myself pick them up and just read something else.

Read Shelly Fredman's "No Such Thing As...." series. I think the first one is "no such thing as a free lunch." They are available on line. They are excellent and very similar to the Plum series and maybe a bit better.

I have read them - and I see there is a new one out that I haven't read yet, I'll have to see if my library has it.

They are good, but I still miss Ranger and Lula. ;)
