If you hoover up a spider...

Oh I need to hide this thread from my DH, he's petrified of spiders :scared1: and will use anything that's at hand to kill them even hair spray :rolleyes1 , poor things!!, I'm the one who goes around the house setting them free.....I wouldn't mind but he's one big chap and the poor spiders must be absolutely petrified of this giant :rotfl2:

My DH doesn't like them either :thumbsup2 I have to catch them and chuck 'em out the window. Crawlies don't bother me it's the slimies you get in the garden, we had some crates from Tesco online groceries and there was a massive gross snail hitching a lift :scared1: :crazy2:

Me neither - unless it had a 10 foot long pole :rotfl:

Luckily, there were no more arachnid invasions last night so I was able to sleep soundly in my bed - no big daddy spiders coming after me, thank s for the thought Michelle ;)

Aren't you supposed (statistically) to swallow 3 or 4 spiders a year whilst asleep? :confused3

Oh you cruel lot. Leave the poor things alone, they catch the flies!!!! I want to complain about the mouse or rat that got into our shed and ate a huge pack of fish food for our koi, poor fish had to starve on Sunday (didn't feel much like eating my lunch as DH made me go down the shed to show me the droppings just before dinner) till we went out and got some food for them!

I agree, leave them alone, they eat the nasty blue bottles, and there is another thing, I HATE blue bottles, they are evil. I hoover them up my dyson, then hoover up fly spry( saves poisoning everything else) You should see them they go mental and die:laughing: I couls tell you how the fly spray works but I am sure you are not interested!

I hate all bugs. I bought a spider catcher but couldn't get close enough to use it either. I always intend to catch a bug but as soon as I'm in the same room I come out in a cold sweat and run away.

Funnily enough, I've worked in a year 1 class for 8 years and every year we do a minibeasts topic - and in all that time I've never touched a bug once, I'm always kind and let the children have that experience for themselves;)

about two years ago Ian was doing extra weekend work in Swindon, he would leave Friday afternoon and come back on Sunday afternoon, not long after he left I spotted a huge spider under the tv stand, I was too scared to go near it to hoover it u por anything. All weekend I avoided the area and watched him, I couldn't understand why he didn't go anywhere, I thought it was stalking me LOL. Soon as Ian got home i had a hissy fit for him to get it, the poor thing had been dead all along, I am so blonde at times ...

just hoovered a tarantula size one up today on my stairs:scared1:
well ok it was'nt quite that big, but anyway i hope it can't crawl out the hoover :scared1:

Spiders i'm OK with but wasps have to be exterminated i'm afraid, horrid things! My sister has always been terrified of spiders, even if it's only a money spider someone has to get rid of it. She always was the wussy one :rotfl:

Dis it look like this?

I hate spiders, last week during the night I went to get a drink downstairs & a spider the size of a tennis ball (no exargeration):scared1: was running along the floor, everyone was sleeping so I couldn't scream & I had to kill it with a shoe.

My sister hoovers them up all the time.

Are you sure it's dead? I'm sure it's living in my bathroom!;)

LOL, that picture is terrible! I am laughing at the fact this thread is still running! I have a film about spiders taking over the world or something 8 legged freaks? anybody seen it ? It was not that bad!

I am now blooming scared!!!

I keep feeling spiders are everywhere! :scared1:

That photo didnt help!
