How soon before the gate opens do you arrive? 30 mins / 45 mins an hour?

In the past, we have been there about 30mins before opening. If I remember correctly at MK, the main entrance opens first then you go through the next part (Main St) a little later. bet you are all as excited as me - wot be long now!

So are you guys going to have a DIS Meet at Disney then?

I would tend to allow slightly more time for the MK - maybe an extra 10 minutes, due to the extra time it takes when you've parked to get from the TTC across the lagoon to the park itself.

Thanks! trying to get an idea of how long we should be there before the parks open... we sure are getting excited, we can't wait been looking forward to this for ages

The important thing is to be there when the park opens and have a plan as to what you're going to do. Disney never seems to open the doors early (unlike Universal).

Make an allowance for the MK as it takes longer to get there but there's not much benefit in being at the entrance queueing 45mins before it opens.
