I'd love to get a feel for what the wait times are during early entry to HP. So, if you've participated before, can you tell me what it was like? What did you do first and what were the waits for each ride (especially Olivander's and FJ since I will be staying onsite). Also, how busy are the stores at that time.

I recognize that this will differ based on time of year you went, but I'm still curious. We're going for the first time on May 3rd.:lovestruc

If you are at the beginning of the line for early admission, your wait will probably be under 10 minutes for Ollivanders. Your wait for FJ will probably just be the length of time it takes to go through the castle and probably no wait at all for Flight of the Hippogriff. There won't be any wait for the stores.

May 3 is a slow time, so you will find Wizarding World to be very quiet during early admission.

If you have EE and any interest in Ollivander's, do it first. Resist the temptation to do FJ first. Trust me, the Ollivander's line only gets longer.

We walked right in to Ollivanders. When we got out the wait for FJ was ten minutes. But then it broke and we ended up waiting an hour. When we got off, though, the park had been open about 20 minutes and the line was already two and a half hours long :scared1:

We did Ollivanders FIRST and had a 5 min wait. Then we did Forbidden Journey with a 10 min wait.Ollivanders by the end of the EE hour had a wait of almost 30 mins and this was in Late Jan

This is helpful and certainly convincing me to get to Ollivander's as quickly as possible - I promise not to push any old ladies out of the way in the rush:rotfl2:

good plan..The problem with Ollivanders is they only take 15-20 people in the shop for the little show at a time.So the line builds quickly. It was cute but defnitely not something I would do again.Forbidden journey moves quickly. The other 2 rides have minimal waits
