I thought it would be nice to start a thread where everyone can post their "Dream" story from when they were Dreamed. That way we could have one spot to read all the wonderful dreaming stories.

I don't have a dream story yet, but I hope to after our trip in July. Wish me luck .

First off let me tell you I love that you spell your name with one L, you'll see why when you see my signature.

My dream story:

I was dreamed at Downtown Disney before the World of Disneystore.
at before 10 AM
and my dream was we received the dream lanyards.
Here is my story: Noy much of a story. We were walking through DTD on our last day of our visit toward the World of Disney to get my Mom's nametag she received in a gift basket I had delivered to her room at the Disneyland Hotel.

My dream story:A one on one with Crush
I was dreamed at Playhouse Disney
at around 10:00am
and my dream was 10 minutes with Crush after the show.
Here is my story: My two yo daughter, who loves turtles, was dressed up as Squirt. My family and I watched Playhouse Disney with my sisters, nephew, brother-in-law and mom, who had flown in from different parts of the country for my 5 yo daughter's birthday/conference. One of the CM's started talking to us after the show was over, after she noticed Mei in her turtle costume. She found out that the circumstances of our visit, asked us if we were going to see Turtle Talk with Crush and said she would arrange a private one on one with Crush after the Show if we were interested. Of course we said yes. We told her what show we were going to and she came and found us outside the theater. She introduced us to some more CM's and we got Family Reunion pins with the Incredibles on them and special Tink trading pins for the kids. My nephew got a My First Visit pin.
During Turtle Talk with Crush, Crush noticed Mei in her costume and spoke to her during the show. He didn't give her a turtle name cause he said Mei-Mei already was a turtle name. After the show the CM's had us wait until everyone left the theatre and then Crush came back out and talked to my family. Everyone got Turtle names and we all sang the Happy Hatchday song. The kids and adults had a lot of fun. My BIL thought I had paid for the meeting and was super surprised when he found out I didn't. It was a super fun experience.

We were dreamed last Monday at about 11AM on our way to ride the Monster's Inc Ride. DD won "Screamer of the Day" and we had unlimited rides that day. We received an Ultimate Meet and Great with 15 characters, free autograph books and free Photopass 5x7 pictures(2 each).

We were walking on the pathway in front of the castle between Frontierland and Fantasyland. I think it was mid morning. There were 2 "Dreamers" handing them out. Nothing spectacular.

We were dreamed last Monday at about 11AM on our way to ride the Monster's Inc Ride. DD won "Screamer of the Day" and we had unlimited rides that day. We received an Ultimate Meet and Great with 15 characters, free autograph books and free Photopass 5x7 pictures(2 each).

Wow, I hadn't heard of that one yet.

My dream story:

I was dreamed at the stairs near Pirate's Lair going up to Haunted Mansion
at 9.30 AM
and my dream was Preferred Seating for Billy Hill and the Hillbillies

The park was rather empty in the morning because everybody was in line for the High School Musical performance or getting a spot for the parade. They were taping last year's Christmas Parade that day.

We were walking to Haunted Mansion to get Fast Passes when I saw two CM with pin trading lanyards. They were standing near the landing of the rafts to Pirate's Lair.

Now I was a first time pin trader and kind of hyper, so I went straight up to them. I think I've amused them greatly. Jet-lagged German on sugar high.

I had some pins from DLRP on my lanyard, and we started chatting about it. I know that CMs have to accept all pins you offer for trade if they don't have them yet. But the female CM admired one of my Paris pins, so I offered that one in the trade to her. She was all "But you don't have to." So I told her: "But I want to." and beamed at her.

In turn she proceeded to make us "honorary citizens", we had to take the oath and everything.

And then all of a sudden she asked me if we liked Frontierland. I'm all "of course" - my poor friends barely got to say a word. All they wanted were their fast passes.

Turned out those two CMs were the Dream Squad. I had of course seen the signs, but I had no idea about the promotion or anything.

She handed me a certificate for the Preferred Seating for the Billy Hill & the Hillbillies show at the Golden Horseshoe. I must have looked like a kid in a candy store.

My friends were all giggling like hyenas. "We never win anything, and Vala in a sugar rush pretty much jumps at the Dream Squad and doesn't even realize."

We were lucky enough to be dreamed last August. We were coming off Snow White, which by the way had absolutely no line, and the Dream Squad was there waiting for us with Dream Fastpasses! We (ok me! seeing as how my kiddos who were 4 and 2 at the time, and my dh had pretty much no idea what they were. But thanks to the DIS, I was well informed!!) were SO excited! It was earliy-ish, not sure of the exact time but it was during MM. We actually had another chance later as the Dream Squad was handing out fast-passes as we exited Dumbo too. But we were already sporting our Dreams from earlier!! I guess we should consider ourselves lucky because we came across the coveted Dream Squad twice within a couple of hours and as I've learned from my reading here on the Dis some people have never even SEEN them! We felt lucky indeed!

My dream story:

I was dreamed at: DCA, we were inside the Animation place getting ready to walk down into one of the attractions (sorry, dont remember which one)
at orry, dont remember that either, it was a midday Tuuesday or Wednesday in October
and my dream was We won the ears, didnt even realize why they gave them to us until later!!
Here is my story: Me, my step-mom and my boys were just inside the animation place behind Off the Page in DCA. I think I might have just finished changing a diaper too! We were walking down into one of the attractions that is on the right side of the building. I saw the Dream Team start handing them out just before we got to that point, they must have litterally been walking in front of us. They handed hats to the kids, then to myself and step-mom. As she was giving me mine, she said "you get one too" cause I was just gonna keep on walking after my kids got theirs. I didnt realize they were "dreams" because I didnt know that was a prize, and I had never seen the dream team before. I knew of FPs, Walts Suite, and the shopping pass. Not that spectacular, but we enjoyed it!!

Wed morning (~10 am?) May 14th...
dd and I were dreamed exiting Snow White... had planned on going on Pinnochio, but it had a line (which in itself was a surprise)... so we chose Snow White instead...
Dream Team was inside the exit as you get off, and we both got YOMD ears! Very exciting...

I was dreamed at: California Adventure near the Vineyard Room
The time I was dreamed: I'm not sure about the exact time; but it was right after they ad opened
I was dreamed with Dream Fastpasses
My story: because my family has a Disney Visa Card we decided to use the free character meet and greet at Ariels Grotto. AS my family walked past the vineyard room a man stopped us and asked us if we knew what fastpasses were; we said of course (since it was our second trip) and he then said that there were some people giving them out. I first thought that it was just a family who couldn't use their own fastpasses but when we came closer I realized that they were the Dream Team. As we approached they cheerily said Congratiolations you've just won some fastpasses for each ride (that offered fastpasses) in each of the parks. Then they told us how to use them. My family was so excited.

Hopefully I might have another story when I come back from my next family trip in August.

If getting dreamed is a priority, you can do what others have done and once you spot the dream squad members, you can sort of follow them around until they start giving out the dreams. Also, I've noticed that they tend to give out the dream fastpasses early in the morning, which I think is funny because most of the people at the park that early are families like ours, with children too small to take advantage of most of the attractions with FPs.

Another time while entering the vineyard i recieved a button and a coupon for a free 5x7 photo through photopass.

My dream story:

My husband was dreamed beside the big Sourcerer Mickey hat near the Dinseyland Hotel
at approximately 2.30pm on Thursday 29th May 2008
and his dream was a Mickey Dream Ears hat

Here is my story: My daughter and I were still in touring mode, while DH had had enough of the parks for the day. We left him in Fantasyland in DL - we set off to ride rides, and see parades, he wanted to chill by the pool at the hotel.

He was almost "home" when he noticed the folks in front of him were being dreamed. As he was on his own, he thought they might pretend they hadn't seen him (because that's what happened to me in Epcot earlier in the month ) but as he approached them, one of the dream squad announced "Congratulations - you're a winner" and handed him a hat, too!

DH is pretty shy so he just thanked them and carried them up to our room. When DD6 and I returned to the hotel later that evening and he showed us his "prize" needless to say we were both excited and naturally, he presented them to our daughter!

During our 5 night stay at the Disneyland Resort, we saw lots of people wearing the Dream Fastpass lanyards, but were never lucky enough to see anyone actually being dreamed.

On May 29th my DD and myself won Dream Ears near the Astro Oribiter in the garden area about 2pm. Two Dear Team members were handing them out and we swung in and were so happy to get them! Went right over to the partners statue and had photopass take our picture with our newly aquired Ears!

On May 31st was strolling thru FL on our way to BTMRR (right after MM and park just opened) and saw some Dream Team members going into the exit of Snow White - so we quickly jumped in line to ride and received Dream Fastpasses as well! We were so excited - this was our 4th trip during the promotion and hadn't won anything up until this point!

I was dreamed at: the exit of the Tarzan Treehouse
at: around 10:00am
and my dream was: dream fastpasses
Here is my story: Hubby and I were celebrating our seven-year anniversary on May 19th and decided to hit the treehouse as our first "ride," because that's what we did seven years before on our honeymoon. We goofed around with all the jazzy stuff at the exit of the treehouse for about five minutes, and when we turned to go there were two dream team members standing there watching us. They handed us our passes and asked us if we knew how to use them, etc., and we just grinned, nodded, thanked them profusely, and took off.
Later that day, in an unrelated occurence, we were given free bride-and-groom ears (we had our "Anniversary" buttons on) by a fantastic cast member in Fantasyland, after which said fantastic cast member took us around to four or five rides and put us on through the exits, waiting for us each time so she could take us to another ride. She was postively brimming with magic, that one, and made our whole trip. I'll keep those ears forever.

We were dreamed at the Paradise Pier Hotel in October of last year. When we checked in they told us we were the Big Kahuna Family of the day. Our room was upgraded, we got balloons, a picture taken of our family and a PPH picture frame, we got PPH pins, and when we got to our room we got giant mickey rice krispie treats. It was pretty cool!
