If you have an ADR for 14 and only 10 show up...

Can you still be seated or would they turn you away? Since we have a large group, I want to make sure we have ADRs. There is always a chance with 6 kids that some may not eat at the same time. How do they handle that?

Never been turned away, but I wouldn't do it if a lot of people don't show up.

For a large group reservation, they might charge you for no-shows...I don't know if that's part of the party not showing up or the whole party.

Did you do your reserving for this party as a Grand Gathering reservation?

I am not sure how to handle this, I might try calling dining and see what they say.. I would not change the reservation unless there is some sort of penalty involved, but at least find the best way to handle it..

You should not have a problem. I had booked a group of 8 and only 5 showed up. Because, the other 3 cancelled. It was not a issue. You can always give a call if you are worried.

They told me, when I just booked two large group reservations- not w/grand gatherings - that it would not matter if some people didn't show. I talked with two different people when I made the reservations, and both said to just tell them when we check in at the podiums if the numbers are different than we originally said.
You shouldn't have a problem...

A few years back I travelled with 15. Sometimes people cancelled/decided not to come. As soon as you know this let them know. Either with a call or at the podium. It won't be a big deal unless it is somewhere you have to leave a deposit (like the shows etc).
