I'm a teacher. We had a very unexpected snow day here in Cleveland. The roads are fine right now. I think I'm going to the mall.

No school here but I got to get over to the school to get all the papers I was going to bring home over the weekend to grade.

No snow day for me thank goodness. It's snowing pretty hard though; seems like most of the state is shut down

I was planning on sleeping in but my kids had other plans. My son had a friend sleep over and they were up at 6:30 playing video games.

I am going to make some chocolate covered pretzels and help my 6yo make a gingerbread house.

Poor hubby got called out at 3am to go plow. I have no idea when he will be home.

Just finished my Christmas cards. Heading for the dining room to clean and put the extra piece in the table. (Lots of company coming!) Hoping to rearrange the furniture in living room too. We're getting our tree on Sunday and I need to make a place for it.

no school in my part of Maine. SNow is coming down right now at a good clip....I have some neighborhood kids here that are in need of care so they stay with me.......YUCK.....breakfast is done and we will play around for a bit and then they can watch some of the Christmas videos......or dvds.

I cna't decorate yet in case the rug inspector decides that my rug is not worth the money we paid for it......and our new rug (this rug is three weeks old) will be delivered as soon as possible.

I am going to take advantage of being home today. I am planning on cleaning, making cookies for a party we are going to tomorrow, and also making beef stew for dinner tonight.

Now if I could just manage to get away from this computer....

Okay, making progress! Kids have played, had their hot chocolate and I've e-mailed pics to the grandparents in Hawaii and Florida. Getting addresses off the computer to work on cards now. Butter is on the counter softening so we can makw cookies.

I got to use DH's new toy - a big fat snowblower. I never thought clearing snow could be so much fun. The kids ran in and out of the snow spray like it was a water fountain.

I need a hot chocolate smilie to send to you all!

i ended up not doing anything!!! my best friend came over and it was great to be able to see him..he will be a new daddy in a couple weeks and i figure this might be the last time i get to see him before the baby!!

I'm enjoying my b-day. TG it snowed a lot so I don't have to drive down the slippery hill. Actually I can't drive anywhere today since DH dug out my car and forgot he had my keys in his coat. Tonight suupper with friends and cake.
