Have you had trouble with the cup holder? I got my stroller in June, I love the lavender color (very pretty) and I love the snack tray but the clip on cup holder is useless to me. I lost the 1st cupholder within 2 weeks of having the stroller. I e-mailed the company and they sent me another one at no charge. I have made sure to be extra careful (I'm not hard on strollers to begin with) when folding up the stroller but the cupholder is already beginning to come apart. Not to mention the size, I find it hard to fit anything in it. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or am I just harder on strollers than I think I am. I went to Babies RUs last week and bought the Prince Lionheart clip on stroller attachments so I can have some back up while @ WDW. I'm just disappointed that a stroller that cost over $300 has such a cheap flimsy cup holder. Anyone else???

The cup holder was a new addition in the 05.5 model year. I agree that it isn't the best holder out there, but remember that this is an Italian company and most European-built strollers have no cup holder. The idea of placing a liquid, or worse -- a hot liquid, above a child's head as you roll over bumps and cracks in a sidewalk seems fairly ludicrous to many Europeans. The sensibility seems to be that if you want to stroll, stroll, if you want to drink, stop and drink...don't drink and drive. :) The cup holder is designed to hold the safest beverage that you can place in it -- a bottle with a cap.

You're paying $300 for a stroller that is well-built, handles well, and folds like a dream -- not just a place to store that oh-so-tasty frapuccino.

Yup, the cup holder is worthless. I was never even able to get it attached properly! But I am jealous of your lavendar Zippy - I had to settle for red. :(

I got something from this company, and I highly recommend it as an alternative. http://carryyou.com/stroller_accessories.html The one I have is the Demi Milan, and it is perfect for my Zippy. It can hold 2 drinks (though I wouldn't do coffee) and there is a small pocket where I can put my cell phone, keys, small pack of Kleenex, and a little Purell bottle. Perfect! http://carryyou.com/demi_milan_stroller_cup_holder.html

I wish I had known about this last week. I went to BRU & bought the Prince Lionheart stroller attachment kit. I don't know how well it will hold up but hopefully will get us through our WDW trip in a few weeks. I just need something to hold a bottle of water. I would not put anything hot in it. Thanks for the link, I'll save it in case the others don't work. Does it interfere with breaking down the stroller at all??

You said you never could get your's attached properly. That what I thought happened to the first one, thought maybe I didn't have it on right. The 2nd one I made DH do and it still didn't work.

You can leave it on all the time, even when you fold up the stroller. It is very convenient. I actually had the girl at the Right Start help me set up the stroller, and even *she* couldn't get the cup holder on. :confused3
