I really don't like the hat at all. The "park icon" for DHS has always been the Earful tower as far as I'm concerned.

I plan to submit my opinion on this subject to Disney, as others should too if you feel for or against the Sorcerer's Hat.

I would love to be able to walk into DHS and see Grauman's Chinese Theatre down Hollywood Blvd. Well for legal reasons it is called "The Chinese Theatre" at DHS.

Quote from Imagineer Bob Weis last year regarding the above picture, “And this is my favorite view of the Chinese Theater. You can’t get this view anymore. You may be aware of that. But I hope that we will get this view again some time soon.”
To me, the Sorcerer's Hat is an icon of Disney Imagineering. So, it does have a place at DHS, just not down Hollywood Blvd. in front of TGMR. There is a great spot in front of the park entrance where they put the Christmas tree every year. That would be a great spot for a smaller Sorcerer's hat and photo op (like the one they have at the Disneyland Hotel in California) or even in Animation Courtyard. Just my opinion.
