If you had two evenings with your SO at WDW ...

I'm planning on joining DH while he has a work conference in Orlando in January. While he is in meetings, I will tour solo, but I'm hoping for at least one or two evenings that we could go into the parks together. What would you plan? Some background info on us: we like fast rides, we don't drink alcohol (so drinking around the world would be out), and we love eating out together :)

Judging by your photo, assuming it's not your first time there - what's your (or his - since he'll be in conference most of the time) favorite park? I'd pick that park, then just find a restaurant within that which sounds like it appeals to you both. There's cool stuff in every park.

The resorts have more romantic/better restaurants, but since you're there for such a short time, I don't know that I'd recommend doing that. I'd stick with the parks.

MK, strolling around MK at night is amazing, and would be a must-do for DW, with a dinner at a monorail resort restaurant.

If ROL is running, AK. Everyday, AK has an amazing variety of food (from African to Indian to Asian to BBQ) and it can be a great place to stroll at night. Also EE is WDW's best thrill ride at night.

Otherwise I might lean EPCOT.

We just got back on Sunday from our very first trip anywhere without our kids () for our anniversary. We did a lot (and a good bit of drinking around the world) but our favorite was an early dinner at Jiko (so nice!) followed by hitting HS for a few rounds of ToT and RNR and then hopping to MK for repetitive Space Mountain rides.

We ate and drank around Epcot one night. You can easily skip the drinks. We ended in the UK by watching illuminations next to R&C.

Another free night we had was going to trader Sam's. We could've easily switched that to a night in MK. Or dinner at Jiko. I would love to check out AKL.

If it fits within your budget, I highly recommend the Savor the Savanna tour. I did this tour on a solo trip in July and it was amazing - I just wished my DH had been there with me. It would also put you in AK which, as another poster mentioned, is also home to Expedition Everest for your thrill ride fix.

My husband and I have a Friday and Saturday night in WDW in Feb. 2017. He's requested doing the Star Wars Dessert Party in Hollywood Studios for one of those nights. So if it becomes available that is what we'll do one night.

Not sure of the other night yet. He wants to take it easy that weekend which will probably drive me insane but I'll try.......

If Rivers of Light is going, then do AK. You can eat dinner at Tiffin's or have a snack on the deck at Nomad Lounge. Both are very good. There are some good thrill rides at AK to satisfy you there. Plus, AK at night is really beautiful and romantic. The Tree of Life show is awesome.

Otherwise, I would suggest DHS for the Star Wars show. It's pretty amazing. You could eat at some of the lounges. We really liked the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge. Good thrill rides there too.

I'm with @soniam ~ Tiffins in AK is excellent! We ate there on Monday and felt the meal was as good as Club 33 fare.

If you head to Disney Springs, STK was also very good and Management kept the music volume lowered at least for the early diners.
