For a quick trip, which would you choose? I want low crowds. I don't care about closures or weather, just low crowds. I will be driving if that matters in your suggestion. Please tell me why you choose your weekend.

Thanks for your help!!

We went the last weekend in January in both 2011 and in 2013. This particular weekend both years happened be a long semester break weekend for my kiddos, which is why we chose to go then. Both times we experienced low crowds, smaller lines at restaurants, and reasonable wait times for rides and attractions. In 2011 it was cold (we're from Michigan, so it was fine with us) like in the 50s and we needed layers and couldn't swim. In 2013, it was in the 80s and perfect every day. So, January is sort of a gamble for weather, but both times we enjoyed very manageable crowds and wait times.

I hope that helps!! Whenever you go, have a magical trip!!!

Well this January might be tough. 4-8 is marathon weekend. 16th is Martin Luther King weekend. Then the NFL Pro Bowl is in Orlando at the end of the month. I think the worst weekend of them will be Martin Luther King weekend so avoid that.

I was going to go the last weekend until I heard about the Pro Bowl. Now I am looking at driving down on the 21st and back on the 24th or 25th.
