So I'm going to the GF on Saturday, just me and the girlfriend. We will be eating at a lot of faster service restaurants but would like to make one reservation (I know times will be limited) for a signature restaurant. If you had to choose one Disney restaurant you can't be without, which would it be?

:woohoo::yay::woohoo:

I would pick Fulton's Crab House in DTD. KY is not known for it's seafood. In October, they had Alaskan King Crab Claws on the menu. But, since you are staying the GF, it might be cool to eat at Narcoosee's or Citricos, two signature restaurants at your resort. I think it is really cool to be able to walk to such great restaurants without having to travel all over WDW.

What a tough question! I would vote for Cali Grill. Wonderful servers, awesome atmosphere, and very good food. We have been there several times, sometimes as the sun was setting, and sometimes during the fireworks. Anytime is a good time. Have fun no matter where you go!

I haven't been to many. Based on what I've read here, California Grill is a must-do at least once. If you're staying at GF, why not splurge for Victoria & Albert's? Or Citricos? Would be nice to just walk back to your room after and not deal with transportation.

Thanks for all the suggestions thus far! I will admit it is tempting to book one of the GF restaurants, especially since they seem to be highly thought of on these boards.

So looking at Citricos at the GF, or Crystal Palace and CRT at MK. Any advice on what you guys who have been before prefer?

With you only leaving in a day, I don't know how successful you will be in getting a CP or CRT ADR at this point. Has she ever been to WDW before? Has she ever eaten in Cindy's Castle? If not, I would go with that. We aren't fond of the food, but it's one of those Disney experiences that everyone should try at least once.

If she has been eaten at CRT in the past, I would go with Citricos. My girlfriend and I don't like CP for lunch or dinner, it has really gone downhill (dishes are bland, hot dishes that are cold, pretty bad service even for a buffet, lousey character interaction).

Definatley CRT, if you can get a booking. If you haven't got a reservation by the time you arrive, I would still go to the restaurants reception and see if they have had a cancellation..... Good luck

If you are lucky enough to get CRT, I think breakfast is the only meal that is good there. I have been to all 3, and the food at lunch & dinner was gross. CP is a good buffet, and you can stay inside MK without having to leave. Citricos would let you order from a menu.

Thanks for everyone's input! Citricos sounded great but I do think CRT is an experience that she should have. Booked for 8:30 Tues night!

I was really rooting for Cali Grill, but of the three you had posted I am glad to see you got into CRT. That is a really special experience if you have never been before....have a "magical" time!!
