I'm officially 1 month out from my 180 days and want to roll back on the character breakfasts. I have a 4 year old boy who is into pirates, Winnie The Pooh, dragons and castles.

We're doing a split stay at WL and the Poly.

Here's what I was originally thinking:

Bkfst at Crystal Palace on MK day
Bkfst at 1900 Park Fare on Epcot day
Bkfst at Ohana on another Epcot day
Bkfst at Tusker House on Animal Kingdom Day

Which, if any, would you cut? Any you'd trade out based on LO's preferences? BTW, we're there for a total of 9 days and staying CL, we don't have breakfast booked for every day.

Thank you!

Don't cut out Crystal Palace - the food is good and Winnie the Pooh and friends are wonderful. We have not been to the other three but we are trying 1900 Park Fare for dinner this July.

cut breakfast at 1900 park fare I always find it to be very slow and the others on your list are waaaay better!

If it were me, it would be Tusker House --- morning time is the BEST time to see the animals - and you are already there --- but you're eating --

Those are just my two cents....

We did Crystal Palace & Tusker House in December.

I found both experiences VERY Enjoyable, as did my 3 boys (7,6,3)
For THEM, the Character interaction was better at Tusker.

I have not done either of the other 2 restaurants or Breakfasts.

I would cut out 1900 Park Fare. I enjoy the dinner show better there. We have had breakfast at all four restaurants. Ohana is one of our favorite restaurants for both breakfast and dinner. Our kids love Lilo and Stitch. I prefer the family style table service. I get tired of all the buffets with 3 kids between 5-8. Crystal Palace is fun and the kids love the characters. Tusker House is good but it is quite a hike to the food. Enjoy!

I, too, would cut 1900PF. 12 years ago I loved it. Now it's run down (even with the renos), too crowded, loud, and the food leaves much to be desired. I'm shocked this place is at the GF in the state it's in.

Given your son's interests I would probably cut 1900 PF. It seems that it would be the furthest from his preferences out of the 4 you've listed.

If you can possibly keep all 4, I'd say to keep them as they are all fun!!

Here's another vote to cut 1900 Park Fare, we love it there but for dinner. Crystal Palace and Ohanas are favorites of ours. We've done Tusker House and it was good but I agree with the PP about taking advantage of early hours seeing the animals!

Based on what your son likes, probably 1900.
He'll see Pooh and friends at Crystal Palace.
The others are really good, different characters.

Here's another vote to cut out 1900!! (based on your son's character preferences and my personal opinion of course!) ;)
Tusker house is a MUST! Not only is the food great (HUGE wonderful variety) but the characters are amazing as well. We both love this place. The bonus is that they serve that heavenly iliko juice! Mmmmmm.
Ohana is another one of my faves. Another must! They also have that yummy iliko juice AND delish pineapple bread! The food is wonderful too. the bonus is that its a sit down all you can eat family style. The atmosphere is beautiful and the characters are wonderful. We saw Mickey twice! Stitch is a riot. :thumbsup2

I have done all 4 with a 4 year old boy. If I had to choose one to cut it would be the 1900 Park Fare, although my son had a bit of fun with the Mad Hatter.

Even though the food is great at 1900 Park Fare I would cut that if you are looking for character breakfast for a young boy.
Crystal Palace is a must do. You will love this place. Character interaction is great.
Ohana is very good as well. I can not judge Tusker House as that is one place we have never desired to eat at.

Since you're staying at Poly & WL, I'd cut 1900 Park Fare.

Crystal Palace has you already at MK so that's simpler. You're staying at Poly, so I'm assuming you're having Ohana's one morning that you're there, so simpler. Tusker House is at AK on your AK day, so minimal travel.

1900 Park Fare you'd potentially lose a lot of extra time travelling from your resort to there and then to EPCOT. Since you'll already be late to EPCOT most likely on the Poly/Ohana day, dropping 1900 Park Fare would give you the opportunity to get to EPCOT earlier (less risk of transpotation snafus) and thus give you a potentially shorter wait for things like Soarin. BTW, we're doing 1900 Park Fare & are super excited, but for dinner :-) so my answers are purely based on simplification and your son's interests. Have fun!!

Well I'm not much help as you've skipped my favorite Cape May which I would do on an EPCOT day.

We do enjoy Ohana and CP.

I would cut 1900 PF, the time we went the food was lousy, the noise level was insane and the service was terrible

Hi

If you definitely are intending to cancel, based on your son's preferences if I was you I would cancel 1900 Park Fayre. We have enjoyed breakfast here in the past so my opinion is not based on the restaurant. Just an opinion on what you have said about what your 4yo enjoys.... Whichever ones you pick you will be sure to have a fab time! We are looking forward to trying Ohana's for the first time this August. Love the CP and Tusker House. We also love Cape May as suggested by another reader... Happy Planning:)

I agree with this post. While I love 1900, if you HAVE to cut one based on your sons likes and where you are staying this is the one I would cut.

UNLESS your DS loves the Mad Hatter, if he loves the Mad Hatter you might want to keep this one and cut Tusker House, although the food is better at Tusker House (if that is a factor)

HTH :goodvibes

I really like 1900 PF. If your DS likes Pooh a lot, this is a good opportunity to see him again. It is quite a variety of characters, which I really like.

Of course, I would keep all of the meals. If I had to cut, I would pick Tusker House. It is just not my favorite.

My kids favorite meal is Garden Grill for dinner. They love Chip and Dale. They are so funny!

Thanks for all of the feedback. Everyone made the choice pretty easy! Originally we were staying at GF but resort hopped and ended up at WL.

Thanks for your advice, we'll save 1900 PF for next time! :)
