If you had only one night.....

I vote for a nice dinner at Tony's or the Castle followed by a viewing of Wishes! We didn't expect to find Wishes so wonderful and romantic, but we found a bench between Crystal Palace and Casey's and snuggled up with coffee and hot cocoa (it was a chilly January evening) to watch. What a great night! Hoping to enjoy it again in May!

I agree with dianeschlicht - nothing can beat the Illuminations cruise!

The boat parks right under the bridge by the rose and crown so even if it's raining, you'll be dry. You also get a tour of the waterways around Epcot! It was the highlight of our trip!

My DH is a really big fan of Illuminations, but during our trip in January he declared that Wishes is his new favorite!
I vote for viewing Wishes, going over to the Wilderness Lodge for the Electric Water Pagent and then a late dinner at Artist Point.
After dinner you could retire to your room to enjoy the jacuzzi.
In my opinion, that would be the ultimate evening for your short (but romantic) trip.

We had a similar night - we went to Jikos at AKL and then out to Arusha (spelling?) rock for a Savannah Night View, walked around the AKL absorbing the atmosphere and energy - decided AKL would be part of our future travel plans

thanks

Thanks for all the replys!!

Now I'm really confused!! There are so many choices !! Of corse we will be going back in May but viewing either of the fireworks choices is NOT very much fun or romantic with a 2 1/2 year old in tow and a ds7 also who is usually more interested in the rides at this stage!!

I think I might be really leaning towards Wishes...and the Electric Light...what time is that?? I have'nt experienced that in years since we stayed at the Floridian.

Also, we have a studio booked but all this talk of the jacuzzi's is making me consider calling in the morning to see if any 1-bedrooms are available...What do you think at less than one week out?? It probably won't happen but it wouldn't hurt to call just to See!! ( not to mention the use of extra points)

Thanks again all!

we booked a last minute trip last february 10 for a 5 night stay at BCV in a studio for 3rd week of March- got a great one too- 4061 overlooking the quiet pool, it was lovely.

If I only had one night at WDW and wanted to do something romantic...I'd definitely do Victoria and Albert's again. Actually, I would probably see if we could get the Chef's Table, as we haven't done that yet. It would definitely be worth a trip just for that, in my opinion. And if you could work it so you could catch a glimpse of fireworks somewhere, so much the better (I don't remember how the timing worked out or if that would be possible)...maybe even do the Adventurer's Club or Comedy Club at PI and catch 'em there.
