to spend at disneyworld...what parks would you visit? we will be there the first couple of days in may. we have been to disneyland and don't want to do the waterparks (if that helps narrow down our choices)...any suggestions please!!!

Magic Kingdom (always a must, the most "Disney"), and AK would be my picks. The others are 'half-day' parks in my opinion.

For us, it is definitely the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Who's going? Do you have children? If you do, how old are they? I think that makes a difference in which ones I would choose, although I would most definitely pick MK as one choice...regardless of age!

I too would do Magic Kingdom and Epcot. I love walking around world showcase and Main Street these are what make a WDW trip for me.
:tinker:

2 Days at MK:

1st day to hit all the rides (and I do mean all of them) and eat on the go.
2nd day to see all the shows and parades and fireworks, shop, and eat at 2 TS meals.

Another vote for MK and DHS. I'd hate to miss Tower of Terror, RocknRollercoaster, and Toy Story Mania. Just sayin'

I prefer Hollywood Studios over Epcot.

Magic Kingdom then DHS ...

I'd probably try to squeeze in Epcot.

My advice (coming from someone living in CA who's been to Disneyland many times) will be different than most.

Skip the MK -- DL is way better, has more rides (although it's smaller). MK is WDW's version of DL and there is almost nothing there that is either not at DL or not as good as it is at DL.

I would spend one full day at Epcot. The other day I would suggest you go to AK, or do half AK and half DHS.

There is so much to see and do at Epcot that you haven't seen before in LA.

AK is the most "different" park and there is almost nothing there that is also in DL (Tough to be a Bug is at DCA, and that's all I can think of as an overlap between the two).

DHS is fun and also has several rides and attractions that you can't see in CA.

Hope this helps you with your planning! Most people who go to WDW spend lots of time at the MK, but we spend the least amount of time there because we also like to go to Disneyland and are familiar with many of the attractions.

Good luck with your planning! :goodvibes
