If money is a consideration then we would need more info on what you are looking for before offering opinions. (Is mm important?....how much do you want to spend?....how many people in the room? etc.)

Why only one night?

Because we decided to add one day to our trip and we have the Best Western Meridian Inn booked for our other nights. Less than $100, free parking, and DLR within walking distance.

So really what you need is a hotel for $80-$85 a night.
If it's midweek you will have better luck.

Might try the Ramada Maingate. Annabella. Best Western Stovalls. Hojo with the entertainment rate.

If you're looking for cheap then you could try the Super 8 on Katella which goes for about $50-$60/night. It's certainly nothing fancy but it was a place to sleep. We walked to and from the park when we stayed there with no problem but it's not as close as some of the hotels. I think it took us about 15 minutes to walk to the security check. They have free parking and free breakfast (cereal, muffins, juice). It's also right next to GardenWalk.

I really like the Anaheim Plaza Hotel. There Rates are great at $59 and it is within walking distence. Never had a bad nights stay there.
