If You Had Control Over where Characters Were...

They ought to have more characters present at the resorts for sure, like Timon and Rafiki at Animal Kingdom Lodge or Brer Bear, Rabbit, and Fox at Port Orleans Riverside... There are definetly places around the resort grounds for greeting places for such..

This is an excellent idea for making some of the less popular (but still sought after) characters more accessible. This way, I would know that at a given time & place, I can meet Timon, Brer Rabbit, etc, rather than having to take time out of my touring to wait at one of the random character spots & hope that the character I want shows up. For example, if I knew I could go to dinner at Boatwright's & see the Brers, I would definitely be there, even if I'm staying at a different resort.

BTW: Timon and Rafiki appear at the Garden Grove (at the Swan) on Monday & Friday nights. I've done this meal several times & it is well worth the money & effort.

I would just want to meet the villains... especially Maleficent. She is my FAVORITE. I've ALWAYS wanted to meet her!!!

I totally agree with that.

Let's all write letters to WDW containing all of our character-related suggestions.

Wow, I totally forgot about this. It was called "Surprise Morning Caravan" or "Magical Morning Caravan" or something like that (typical Disney -- these things all start to sound the same after awhile). It occurred in the aftermath of September 11th, when the park attendance was way down. They dropped the early entry to the theme parks for resort guests and replaced it with this hotel character thing.

I had forgotten about it too, until seeing this thread.

I love these ideas! Someone needs to just print this thread out and send it to Disney!

I really think they are in need of some new character meals. We've already done all of them and some are worth returning to, but some aren't. Fresh, new ones, with new characters, would be great!

Great ideas everyone, I hope the appropriate folks at Disney take notice.

As for me, I can't really complain now, as long as they keep Baloo available for meets. I grew up watching the Jungle Book and he remains as my very favorite. Would love to see him & King Louie back in the MK though and I agree that the Brother Bears should return. Love 'em, but never got to meet them. Also, I think some more variety and ramdomness regarding the characters appearing at Town Square would be good. It's such a good spot, makes some good photos with the castle in the background. The place just past the MK turnstiles, in front of the Main Street station is another good spot for character meets. They make decent use of it at Disneyland.

How about some characters at Downtown Disney!

And what about bringing characters to Wide World of Sports once a week - like the fab 5 in sports outfits.

I'd open a restaurant where guests could have meal meet & greets with only villains. Call it "The Poisoned Apple", and theme the interior around the wicked queen's (from Snow White) castle or dungeon. Well-themed, but not too frightening where smaller children could still enjoy the fun. Guests could have meals and mingle with Maleficent, Cruella, Dr. Facilier, the Wicked Queen, and other popular villains whom are seldom seen at the parks. It would be like MNSSHP year-round. :) Have this located somewhere on Sunset Blvd at DHS near the villains store.

OMG!! This would be my dream too, but how about adding Ursula! I am waiting for the day they have a meet and greet with Ursula!! I would make my reservations this minute for this kind of experience!!
