If you had a choice between Fantasmic dinner pkg or hoop review-

If you were going to have to make a choice between Fantasmic dinner package and the Hoop dee doo Review- Which one would you pick? and Why?- Cost not being a factor only the show merits. The Hoop show is 2 hrs and the Fantasmic show is 30 minutes...

I would say that Fantasmic is a definite do not miss attraction. All age groups enjoy this wonderful show. (And, we have done both.)

Both are Just great! With Hoop, Its an interactive Dinner Show!!
With Fantasmic, You have Dinner @ Mama Melrose ( that`s where we did ), or another Rest. ( not sure of the others), and then your given a special way to enter the stadium to see Fantasmic ( which is Fantastic)!!! I think I would choose Fantasmic first, then Hoop on another trip!!!

When are you going? You can do Fantasmic for free. It's a n attraction at the parks. The only thing you are paying for is a meal and reserved seating - so you can arrive 15 minutes before the show instead of waiting in line. I'v heard that this is very worth it at peak times, but not so necessary at slower times.

Fantasmic is a cool water - lights - fireworks type of show. Very unique and enjoyable. The Hoop Dee Doo is a song, joke and dance routine type of show. I loved it at age 10. Depends what you are into...

So basically, when are you going and who is in your party (ages of kids, etc.)? That would influednce my answer.

I would probably do the Hoop Dee Doo and go see Fantasmic for free, without the package if I had to choose one. But, if money is not a factor, I would do both. If timeis a factor and you must choose one, I would probably choose Fantasmic just because it is very Disney (musics, characters, Mickey, etc...) where the Hoop Dee Doo seems like a song and dance show that coudl be anywhere...

Without Dinner Package,yes you would have to que up before you would with package.Still you could see it.HDDR is great show that you must have reservation for to see.So I would suggest seeing HDDR,call and make your reservation now.Then viewing Fantasmic without package.If you do this and change your mind,you can call 48 hour's in advance and cancel HDDR ressy and you won't be charged. Personally, I like Fantasmic much, much better than the Hoop de do. I enjoyed the Hoop de do, but it's no where near Fantasmic!

Have to agree with the posters so far. I would choose Fantasmic hands down. HDDR is great and we really enjoyed it, but there is just something about Fantasmic - the cool water, the disney characters, good over evil, the music, the unique water screen - I could go on and on. It is just a truely wonderful show and something that is very much DISNEY.
