if you had 4 nights (3 full days) in DLP, what would you do?!!

Hi all

I'm new to DLP and this site. Me and my family (DH, DD (age 6) and DS (age 4)) are off to the resort in early June this year for a 4 night stay.... so excited!!!!!!!!

Thought I'd ask you "veterans", what your ideal trip would be... where would you eat lunch/dinner, which rides would you go on/characters would you see, and when??????

Would love to hear your ideal itinerary

i would do as much as i could but go with the flow. each day make a mental not of what you want to do thats on the schedule and take it from there.

have a look at the restaurant review threads and see what kind of food you like. i really like walts, plaza gardens, cafe mickey for the characters.

OOOH sounds like fun

I would do its a small world, cinemagique, stitch live, the cars ride, flying carpets, phantom manor, woodys round up and buzz is a must do

I would eat at Cafe Mickey (must do!!) and Annettes is good fun (the waiters/resses sing and dance and skate!!). Maybe Buffalo Bills Wild West Show (cheaper tickets (€29/39) available thru the frence site - theres a thread on this forum).

On day one i would do a leisurely walk thru of both parks and see all the sights (and go on anything that takes your fancy ) and get my barings. Id then decide on a few must dos to conquere over the next 2 days! Id spend the evenings having nice meals and strolling around the village looking around the shops and would venture to the bar one eveing to try a glowtini
Id take a bahzillion pics and que to meet mickey and stitch (love him since my last trip, he was lovely to my dd)

Take your time, enjoy every minute and dont try to pack to much in.... You need an excuse to come back

We're staying at Hotel Cheyenne from Sunday to Thursday. Like you've both said, I want to be well prepared, but don't want to pack too much in.

Would you recommend a guidebook?

Apart from picking up park maps and a park programme when you check in, on a midweek trip outside of school holidays with 3 full days in the park you'll have time to see and do just about everything I would have thought .

The first time we went our kids were the same age as yours are...Its a great age to take them at.The youngest one just loved all the characters esp Winnie the Pooh.

Cafe Mickey is a great restaurant to take them too.Great character interaction although it can be difficult to get them to eat their dinner as there is so much going on

I have always used the Brits Guide to DLP as I like a book to read in bed but to be honest you will get much much more advice and tips on this board than in any guide book
