does one get FP's for the rest of the day? or do they compensate some other way? For example, we were about to go on Calif Screamin and then a car got stuck up on the top with guests in it. WHoa, I narrowly escaped being in that car... lol

But it got me wondering if those terrified people got anything other than a story to tell.

I believe they may compensate you with a front of the line pass for an attraction of your choice, but just one.

I have been "stuck" on Splash MT twice. Both times we were taken off the boat inside the ride and out the back way. Once we sat in the boat for almost 45 minutes which wouldn't have been so bad if they had turned the music off but they didn't!
anyway, we were not given any fast passes for the inconvenience.

when i got stuck in an elevator in rain foreste cafe (with about 10 other girls from my cheer team) They gave us each 2 front of the line passes, shirts, and every girl on the team (even ones not in the elevator) but me 2 day passes...

I'm not sure if it was because of them not handling that well or if they do that for other things too...

My ds got stuck up on Mulholland Madness when he was a little rascal and had to climb down that ramp and stairs. I was  --- but all was well in the end.

He did not get anything, and we never expected anything, either, lol.

We had to walk off of BTMRR once and got fastpasses for an attraction of our choice.

We've had to walk off of Indy twice and Splash once. Each time, they gave us a FP for any ride for our whole party.

vomit vomit vomit...cannot read further...trying to get thought out of my head.....

We got stuck one car away from exiting Roger Rabbit, and although our car was almost touching the door, we had to wait and wait and wait, and we were the LAST ones evacuated.

While some lovely father directly behind us berated his daughter for being upset, wanting her mom (in the vehicle behind them), and crying, while he hit her for crying.....

And no, no fast passes for that.

I find it hit and miss. I have been taken out before the doombuggies on HM and recieved nothing at first (but on a side note a CM spoiled us in the end so that made it up). My friends got stuck on something for a while and while not escorted off they still recieved a FP to ride anything in the park.

Well it seems to be almost random :confused3 I got stuck on splash mountain and we had to get out of the boats and walk off the ride, they gave us front of the line passes for one ride of our choice.

I was stuck on IASW about 10 years ago with two little 5 years old girls for 45 minutes. Their first time in the park...and what almost bothered me the most besides the fact that they didn't turn the music off...imagine it...OMG! was that they continually asked why why why why why why why why....when when when when when

We were never escorted off the boats:boat: ...finally we moved! I've hated the ride ever since. :crazy2: No explanation or FP. I didn't expect anything so getting out of there was just as good!

However, last year my little girl walked into the mailbox on Main Street, you know the one...hanging off the lamp post about forehead height to a 5 year old...yep you guessed it. Talk about a goose egg!

We took her to first aid for an icepack and they gave all 6 of us a FP for any ride we requested. Peter Pan...yeah!

I think it also depends on if you ask for something.

My sis and I got stuck on Snow White at WDW last fall and we did get one FP each. We spent a whole lot of time staring at the exact same spot.

We had been joking around about hiding and scaring people later when a CM came around the corner and scared us. He laughed!

We got a front of the line, go to the exit, pass for any thing pass for this on CS.:thumbsup2 I have to say also that the guys who got us down were great, made a point in telling customer services about them they were that good at gettig us of calmly and safely.

Also got a similar pass at MK WDW when BTMRR stopped while we were still in line. We were nearly on the ride, but even so it wasn't like we had to be escorted off or anything.

We got stuck at the top of Splash Mountain a couple of years ago. Took several pics at the top. Were told to stay in our logs until someone came to get us, then were escorted down through the skeleton of the mountain (behind the scenes) . . . kinda cool. . . . and given a fastpass to Splash for later on in the day. (It also makes for a great story!!!)

You've gotta be kidding STUCK on SCREAMING!!!! Looks like it was at the top of a hill too! Yikes!!!:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: That's okay, give me one of those harnesses and I'll get myself down. Don't want to ride it the rest of the way after a MALFUNCTION!

.

We got stuck at the top of the first drop in Pirates for about 45 minutes . . . . lights came on, music and soundtrack (thankfully) went off. They were about to evacuate us when a voice came over the loudspeaker and said "cancel evac!" The boats started moving again, but the lights were still on and no soundtrack until about 3/4 of the way through--was not an issue for us--it was really neat to see it differently!

We got a fastpass (which we ended up not using) when we got off. We didn't have to ask, they were automatically handing them out.

Offall the times at both DLR and WDW we've (luckily) only been stuck on rides a few times. A few years ago (before FP) we were on Indy when we went behind skull rock and our jeep malfunctioned. The lights and rails came up immeadiately. A maintenance man came out to check out our jeep (he commented he'd never seen it do "this" before) Another CM came to escort us off the ride. They got a step stool off the back of the jeep and we were directed to climb down and not to step in the track while walking. We walked through the rest of the rooms (pretty cool) to the exit. It was one of the few times I didn't have my camera with me-I would have loved to take some inside pix. Others in our group did. We weren't given enything (nor did I think to ask) It was a pretty cool experience and probably only took about 30 mins.

Last Sept. we were stuck in Buzz at WDW during a bad thunderstorm for about 20 minutes, or longer. This was during MNSSHP. I think they were having electrical problems. No FP were given out. Looking back we should have asked for some.

Oh, and on that same trip we had a malfunctioning car on TT at WDW. Ours just couldn't seem to get in gear! We told the CM when we got off (as did another group before us) and we were immeadiately put back on the ride and my DD was given a pair of those Tinkerbell pins the CMs have (one to keep, and one to share.) Luckily there were 2 as she lost one before we left the park. I figure someone found it and that's like sharing, isn't it?

We were stuck on Small World last year and had to walk off. They didn't do or give anything special to us.
