I'd probably go shopping a the local Toyota dealerships. I've heard their deals are great.
I drove a Corolla for years and traded up to a Volvo then to a Honda van.

probably a 2 year old Honda Odyssey staying as close to 25 as possible and then take a 2 week trip and drive it to WDW with the $ left over Either way, I would probably get a car 2 years old...the depreciation is just brutal on new ones.

I was thinking a used Odyssey as well. Or-I'd shop around for a nice convertible that I could garage in the winter.

I'm 45yo and I've had enough new cars for 3 people. I've learned my lesson and will never waste money on a new car again when I can get a great deal on a super nice used car--esp. in times like these. Hindsight is 20/20 and I really wish I'd have listened to dear old dad--who also spoke from experience. lol I'm the type of person who can't go on a car lot--sorta like the alcoholic who can't have a drink!
