if you don't book it...will the pin code come???

so the new package visa discount gets released early this month and the free dining pin codes start flying out on the 10th of oct..... i go and book it with the disney visa and now could have saved an additional $180 bucks with the free dining pin everyone is talking about. i feel like i should have waited another few days and maybe i would have snagged up a nice free dining pin also!!

I always wonder the same thing. I always book 6-8 months in advance and so I figure Disney knows that I am booking without a pin code, so they don't give me one. I think they try to give them to people to push them over the edge.

I've never gotten a pin code and I'm really jealous of those who do! I wish I knew the secret...

I get pin codes even when I am booked. I think it's just completely random whether or not someone will get one.

I've gotten pin codes after I booked, as well. I'm not sure that they actually check future reservations when they send out these codes, but I'm pretty certain they check when you may have come before and tailor the pin code offers based upon that. I constantly get pins for December and September, both months we stayed exactly once. OTOH, I rarely get a pin now for February, after getting them for years, because it seems like they've figured out that we've stayed 4 Februarys in a row.
