We just booked our tickets with reward miles. And since we're right on the minimum number of days before flight, we selected our seats, direct flights and itineraries!
It is not the tragedy many claim it is to find what you want. It always pays to plan far ahead.
And if, gawd forbid, we have to make changes, there aren't the penalties associated with the purchase of tickets.
